Cellgate problems
We purchased the system due to break-ins. We had the system for 12 months before our next break in and found out one of the cameras malfunctioned. So we missed the criminal activity being captured on video.I pay almost $60 a month for the service and to find out the system stopped recording three months prior and no one knew about. I’m really aggravated.Getting a hold of someone in customer service as a customer can take forever. I’ve waited days without a response. The only way I could get through to them was to push the button that says I’m a dealer doing an installation. They answer those phone calls to make sure the installation is completed and they get paid. But if you’re a customer trying to get a hold of them good luck.The picture quality on the cameras is not very high definition and it’s very hard to make out the faces on the video.You can’t currently access the cameras from your cell phone to view motion detection recordings. You have to go down to the camera take two screws out remove a Sim card take that and put it in your computer to view any images captured. The agent said they’re working on fixing that.I’m paying $720 a year for this service. I can get better image quality recordings from a Ring doorbell and I only have to pay $50 a year for that service.Once you spend $12,000 on the Cellgate equipment you’re stuck using their service.I highly recommend finding a different product.

some engineering flaws
there are a number of flaws with this but i managed to fix them. it requires some soldering and WILL break but works well after its fixed. if you need some tips or want to send it in to me I have alot of experience fixing Chinese garbage. shoot me a line on my website at cardinaldrone. Comnothing worse then the feeling of just flushing 2 grand down the toilet :(

Junk, zero customer service
Professionally installed. Worked well for three days. Broke, they came and got it working again. Broke again a different way a few days later, company claims it’s a portal issue on the Cell-Gate side. No notification from Cell-Gate even though they have my email address, no timetable for when they get their portal fixed. Junk...do not buy.

VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER WITH 0 STARS.
WOW! I paid $1150+ for this thing expecting it to work forever. 3 month later, broken! does not work. i cannot get in touch with anyone for help. I am stuck with it and have no way of knowing where to go.Everyone in the gate business i have contacted says " you need a new one"Save yourself the money and headache of what i am going through. this unit is not worth $10.00 in my opinion, based on the price i bought it for, what it promised and it delivered.VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER WITH 0 STARS.
