I bought this to fit a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The adapter fits, but that's all the further I got. The trailer wiring on this harness is only about 18" long (not stated anywhere), just barely enough to stuck out the lift gate once you tuck it in behind the panels, and I'm sure it won't go past the bumper. My factory harness had so much wire that it would drag on the road if you let it. With this, I'd need an extension cable of at least 2 feet to connect the vehicle to the trailer (and my trailer side plug sticks out past the receiver anyway). Way too short to be useful unless your harness connection is outside the vehicle under the bumper. Even if you could get it to reach, something would break with the first right-hand turn you made.

this was listed along with the hitch i was getting for my 2008 Grand Cherokee. it appeared to be the wiring harness that goes inline on each tail-light but it is a conversion from the 7 pin setup that is on jeeps that already have a hitch and wiring in place from the factory. I ended up ordering the correct item from amazon. if you are putting a hitch setup on your jeep and this is listed in a package take the time to look and see if there is any exisiting wiring if not then order yourself this part "Tow Ready 118425 T-One Connector Assembly"

Decent quality, but extremely short trailer-end wires. Need an extension to reach whatever trailer I would be connecting to. That is if it even fit my vehicle, the plug-ins do not match as I was fearing when ordered. Amazon fitment tool has worked approximately 25% of the time for me. Better off paying more at part store.

I was a bit skeptical about this product, but it allowed me to add rear LED lights without chopping into the factory truck wire loom. Very happy with product. It was beefier than expected and works well.

It’s easy to put in with simple tools and then it’s over. No more problem with poor connection. Great product. Recommend it highly.

Seems like a good product when I was looking at it, however it ended up being the wrong thing I needed.

This was not the connector we needed. However, Amazon was not at fault at all!!
