EXCELLANYARD Women's Lolita Dress French Maid Costumes

I will be including pictures (with and without the apron) because I find those reviews are the most helpful. I don't have a floor length mirror that I can move around so sorry about lighting.First thing, I’m 5’10”, generally a medium/large in tops, a size 8/9 in jeans, 36B chest, and approx. 150lbs. I bought the 8-10 size (it says XL on the tag). If you’re around my height/measurements and are questioning buying this because of the possible length, continue reading. I needed a maid costume and I only had three weeks till the convention so my options were very limited. I found this one. It had decent reviews, but they were mostly from people who were 5’1" and they said it was even short on them. Because no one was my height. I at least looked for a review from someone who would be close to my size even if they're shorter than me. I decided to buy it and had to get it expedited because it would’ve arrived after the date I needed it. I ordered on Monday, it shipped Wednesday and I received it Friday morning (today). Super fast. I tried it on and it fits very well. It’s not tight anywhere and very comfortable. People were commenting on the chest area being too small but I have no issues. I have plenty of room. The apron doesn’t hit my waist like it’s pictured. It’s across the bottom of my chest (maybe cause of my height?) which I thought was weird but it doesn’t look too bad. Maybe just a little small and why I knocked off a star. There were some loose threads here and there but nothing major. Quality is nice. I like the material, it doesn’t look/feel cheap. Length isn’t as short as I pictured. It’s short yes, but I could probably wear just this and be fine, though bending over would be an issue but when isn’t it in a dress? I will however be wearing spandex shorts or leggings for coverage/weather purposes.TL;DR: Buy it, it’ll probably be fine. It’s really not THAT short, at least on me and I'm tall though it could vary depending on your proportions. It’s overall a nice costume for the price.

Although the dress was a bit small, I'm going to hold onto it and hope to shed a few lbs to wear it. It is adorable! I'm 5'4" and 178lbs (size 14ish) and I bought the largest size. I couldn't get it to fully zip up the back and my bust was squished in the front. It almost fit and I think if I drop 5-7 lbs it will likely fit. The material is not the highest quality but it doesn't feel thin or cheap either. The cut is very flattering. I don't mind that it's short - in fact It's perfect as I woul wear leggings and visible ruffled bloomers underneath! The apron is cute too and it's not attached, which makes it more versatile. The bow is also not attached so you can pin it where you like or not use at all. I love it overall and just hoping to lose 2 inches and I think it'll fit perfectly.

Fair warning if you are 5'7 or taller this will be EXTREMELY SHORT!!!!! I also think it might be a tight fit for big busted people as well (i am a 36a-b in american bra size). I luckily have an opaque petticoat that will allow me to wear it in public but its definitely one of those "sexy maid costumes" . Also large fluffy petticoats will not look right underneath it (the fluffy one I have is a Leg Avenue petticoat in white and the one that works was one I bought from the halloween section at walmart). The fabric is fairly nice not scratchy at all however it is a bit stiff.One glaring issue is one of the wristband's (i think that is what it is Im not sure what this piece is supposed to function as) ribbons is split in two and hastily taped together.

The quality is okay, better than a junky Halloween store outfit but plenty of loose uncut threads and lower quality stitching than a more expensive dress. The length is very short. I am barely over 5 ft and it covers my butt and not much else (there is about 3 inches past covering it). The length is more mid upper thigh. If you have a bigger bust than a B cup, you probably need a large. The large was a little big around the waist but fit my chest better. Plenty of hip room but the fabric may not cover your butt in the back.

So...unless you are male or have no boobs I wouldn't recommend this. While the bottom portion of the dress did fit, the top is entirely wrong. There is no allowance for breasts at all so I couldn't zip up that part of the dress at all. My slim husband managed to get it on however it was very tight on even his chest. Very disappointed.

I was a little concerned about sizes but I ordered a XL and my measurements are 38", 34", and 42" I'm 5'3" and 152 lbs. It fit me perfectly :D I'm so excited to finally be able to wear this at an anime convention.

Wasn't too crazy about the fit of the apron but over all this is well made...very big hit at the party

The dress fits...but the chest area is far too small, even when I'm binding. It's going to have to be taken out.

I am a size 6 US size and I got this a size large to it fit just fine. Quality is average, but overall it was a good costume. Arrive earlier than expected, which was great!
