Full marks
I’ve had my Bose QC3 phones for a while, but no Bluetooth is a big drawback, and there are not many solutions for this model.I was surprised to find this competitively priced adapter, and very pleased with the sound quality. There seems no noise or distortion, and the microphone works surprisingly well for calls. The one small drawback I find is the shape. Although it is fairly unobtrusive it’s a great pity that they didn’t make it shaped to fit around the headphone. Conclusion: I am very pleased and would buy again. It’s quality is high and it will extend the life of an excellent pair of phones.

No battery level indication
Sound quality is good and strong. However, one drawback I noticed that there is no battery level indicator. In phone screen, it shows 90% remaining and the next indication is 50% and then 0!!! Best option is to charge it on daily basis

Brilliant Way to Make Old Bose Headphones Wireless
There's not a great deal to say about this item, other than it really does do what it says. It's simple and works well. It has resurrected my old Bose QC headphones (which are really good, anyway), and brought them up to date by making them wireless. The receiver/adaptor fits very neatly, too (unlike the way the photos would suggest).

Freedom from wires but not the most attractive.
Technically this adaptor is great, no latency issues and has brought back to life the expensive Bose headphones I bought when they were up there amongst the most advanced you could buy. In that regard the Airfrex does just the job.The only issue is that the adaptor, whilst stating it is specific for QC3, is bulky and obvious. There are adaptors for other Bose headphones that curve and far less notable. Having said that they do the trick and against the cost of an upgrade and my already zero "street cred" I can live with it!

Functional and useful
You certainly wouldn’t describe this as a good looking device. It makes no attempt to mould itself around the curves of the headphones - which would have been nice.I suppose the couples do match at least, so that’s something. However, it’s the performance that matters and that is really rather good. There’s a bass boost function if you need it, and it allows hands free calling when connected to your phone. Call quality is reasonable, although the sound from this end is rather quiet. As for playing music, that’s where this device excels. I couldn’t identify any differences between the Bluetooth connection and having a cable plugged in - which is excellent. There are very few options for adding Bluetooth to the QC3, and these are the best of those that I have tried. The price is fairly reasonable too.

Has stopped charging after a year
Purchased this adapter in 2022 and it has stopped charging entirely. It has been working fine but doesn't seem to be charging with annymore. Nothing has happened during this entire time, no drops no wrong cables. Don't think I can trust that brand again.

Bluetooth for Bose QC£ Headphones.
Purchased this item to give my Bose QC3 Headphones Bluetooth connectivity. Instructions were clear and I was able to connect to my Sony NWA15 music storage device. This contains a mixture of CD and High resolution files (24bit 96khz) recordings. I did a comparison test, using the cable and this device, but i could not discerne any notable difference of quality loss. I used Organ, Classical and Easy Listening for the tests. I did try the Bass Boost, but turned it off quite quickly as it was not for my ears. I have not tried this device during physical exercise, so I cannot comment on that aspect. I would recommend this device to anyone with Bose QC3 headphones who wishes to free themselves from the cable connection. I have also replaced the Ear Pads via Amazon. Having now used this mainly for Audiobooks, I now find that using it for Music the Left and Right channels are changed over. This means you henie to turn the headphones around to correctly listen to the Music.
