EASY TO USE..... if you have Hologram Sim card and an Arduino Uno or ESP32
Absolutely the best cellular shield I've ever used. I was literally up and running and sending data via MQTT in 10 minutes. Took a little bit a digging to get to work with ESP32 but now Botletics has github page with ESP32 code as well!!Hint: Instead of using lip battery for power simply use 3.3v power supply connected to VBAT and GND. Dont forget, if you're using it with a 3.3 board (i.e. ESP32) connect 3.3v from controller to the shields 5V pin and GND from your controller to the shields GND pin to enable level logic conversion for 3.3v (otherwise shield will be on 5v logic)Also, it's basic, but make sure all GNDs are connected to each other.

Superb Product in all aspects.
This LTE shield is very well designed and made. I use it with both ESP8266 and ESP32 boards. Got it working very quickly using the documentation provided. The best part of this product is the documentation and email support provided by the maker. Every time I had a question, it was answered quickly and usually solved my problem! Thank you!

Works great!
Used this SIM7000A shield to build an ultra low power portable LTE / GPS asset tracker; case, 2500mAh battery, Moteino controller and a mercury switch for interrupt wake up. Easy to build and code for. The antenna folds up into the top half of the enclosure (not pictured). Added a USB port on the side for recharging the battery when needed.
