I'm a hairstylist working behind the chair 40 hours a week, curling anywhere between 10-20 guests a week and this curling iron is a work horse! Easy to use (if you're trained in using a Marcel iron) and always an awesome curl pattern. I do recommend guests to buy a spring iron or a wand because these marcells are not super user friendly unless you really commit to learning, but I do love it for myself. Always recommend something with temperature control which this has rather than just a simple on/off switch. Love it

Works very well! I love the ergonomic feel of this iron. Only thing I’ve noticed after some use is that the black finish has started to flake off a bit. Only cosmetic though.

I am a Hot Tools Lover. I was so excited to receive this iron that i immediately tore into the box like Christmas morning. I took it to my salon to try it. I used it 1 time after that client the next client came in. I attempted to turn on the iron and it would not turn on at all. I tried 3 outlets it would not turn on. When I did turn it on the first time I noticed the light blinking. My old iron is 10 years old and still works. The quality of this is obviously not built to last.

I really love this curling iron. I’m not a stylist but I found this easy to get used to and finally have the curl style I’ve always wanted. I started out in the locked position but can use it unlocked now, too. Very glad I tried it.

this Iron is great if the handle was a spring instead of loose to were you have no controll over it.Almost burned myself a few time because the handle is loose and made that way.I guess you have to a pro to use this. Im sticking to a spring controlled handle.
