An awesome expansion to an awesome game!
7 Wonders is a game my group just keeps coming back to (I probably have over 300 plays). I love playing with Cities and Leaders which at this point feel like the "core game" to me. Base 7 Wonders is naked without those. 7 Wonders Armada is a really interesting expansion which gives new depth to the game and really changes up some of the decision making when it comes to card selection. There are still times when we want a quicker game, and might play without it, so it's not quite at that same status as Cities and Leaders. But it's definitely closer than Babel (an expansion which we would only break out now and again). And since Babel and Armada aren't intended to mix particularly well, I doubt we'll be playing Babel again very soon.

An Excellent Expansion To 7 Wonders
Armada is easy to integrate into the base game and is very easy to learn. It adds another great dimension to the game and increases interaction between players when there are more than 3 playing. All and all a very fun and interesting addition that makes you rethink strategies. And the little ships are very cute.

Armada ,Explore and Score.
A great addition to 7 Wonders. My daughters, 8 and 11, both enjoy it. I live that it gives you more options to score points above the base game. We have yet to combine it with Cities to see how they play together, but highly anticipate a great game.

FANTASTIC addition to the game!
I love 7 Wonders and was hoping this expansion wouldn't be too difficult for a going-on-72-year-old to learn. It's not, and it really makes the game have even more twists and turns. We use it with the Cities and Leaders expansions, but it can be used with the basic game as well. I'm very glad we got it (I wasn't so sure the first time we played it). My adult kids and I love it.

Good expansion for 7 Wonders, but not a must have.
This was the last major expansion for 7 Wonders before they released the 2nd Edition of the game. It is produced in the same high quality tray, box and components as the rest of the game's other expansions and core game. It adds a ton more tokens, a bunch of cards, a bunch of plastic ships, and some new big armada boards. Playing this it takes up a lot more space due to the addition of the Armada boards for each player. For a game that takes up a fair amount of space due to needing to build out a tableau, this definitely increases the space needed. As for play it adds a very interesting new mechanic. This one blends in well with the existing mechanics and you don't feel like you are giving up anything when advancing and actually using the expansion, unlike how it can when using the Babel expansion. When doing things with your ships, you feel like you are still advancing the normal goals of the game. That being said this adds another level of complexity to the game and can lead to more analysis paralysis, especially when playing with people new to the game and not familiar with what many of the symbols and cards do. So should you get this game expansion and should you get it instead of another expansion? If you don't have any other expansions, I wouldn't get it before Leaders and Cities, but I think I would get it before Babel. While it does fit in well, I think Leaders and Cities are an easier add to the game and are a better addition. It is a fun expansion and I can see myself adding it to our regular games of 7 Wonders, perhaps not always like with Leaders and Cities, but a lot more.

Nice Expansion
While 7 Wonders has plenty of expansions, this one is one of the better ones out there as it Adds to the gameplay, and not take away any turns. Think of it as an extension vers and expansion.

Great expansion! I like it better than the original! My husband is unbeatable in the original 7 wonders, but with this expansion pack I’ve beat him a few times. It adds some fun strategy options!
