Finally proper 4K30 Stop Searching
I have a Surface Book, and I have started video editing. I initially used ta mini display port to HDMI adapter and plugged the HDMI adapter to the Mini DisplayPort. The problem is some cables are not allowing HDMI 2.0 instead its an older format (HDMI 1.4). To get proper 4k30 or 60 you have to have HDMI 2.0 cable. This cable is exactly that. I originally thought it was my laptop that was broken, and after various software updates and GPU driver updates, that solution was the cable. I highly encourage you to use this cable if its is the connection you need. I have had zero issues. One advice is to actually restart after plugging it in, and if you are using Windows 10, I prefer my scaling turned down for more real estate on the screen, but you can choose what works best for you.

Worked for about 5 minutes
This was promising, and very inexpensive, and it initially worked, but after about 5 minutes, the screen started flickering on and off, and white bands would appear, and then the whole screen would show snow, like an old fashioned TV, and then the picture would return for a few seconds before repeating the cycle. Amazon had an amazing no hassle return policy for this item, for me, so I'll just try to find another one that works. I don't know if I just got unlucky and got a bad one, and if I got a replacement it would work fine, but I didn't want to chance it.

Nice cable, 4k resolution.
The cable that worked, works flawlessly. I ordered 2 cables and one produced flicker no matter what monitor or port I swapped it to. The flicker wasn't a fast flicker, it was one every 5-6 minutes so it was semi tolerable but being that the other cable worked so well I sent the bad one back. Likely to happen once in a few hundred thousand cables I'd guess. That's why only 4 star. The cable looks great, coils nicely for cable management, and lays nicely (not overly stiff like vinyl coated cables).

Great for standard use
Product is as expected, material seems durable. The braided cables are becoming my favorite because they are easier to coil and straighten out with kinks.Picture quality is what I expected from laptop to monitor, Xbox to monitor is the same. However, this will not work with free sync/g-sync connection. Keep that in mind if your intending to do so.This product is great for standard use.

It works great!
I recently acquired a several year-old Lenovo ThinkPad T430 laptop computer with a mini DisplayPort output instead of the usual HDMI port. My monitor only has an HDMI input, so a converter of some type was needed. This cable filled the bill and works perfectly. It transmits both video and audio from the laptop to my Vizio 32" TV/monitor.

Realiable Connectivity - Works Great - Excellent Company Support
I have purchased two of these Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cables from Capshi, one for myself and one for a client. The client is using theirs to connect a MacBook to an HD (1920x1080) display and I am using mine with a 4K TV. They both work well and reliably convey video and sound. They are coming up on a year old and continue to work great, even with being plugged and unplugged, often multiple times in one day. I did have one small issue and contacted Capshi. They responded quickly and professionally and resolved my issue completely.

Broke within first month of use
After around one month of use, everytime my desk vibrate (because I move the chair or use the keyboard), the screen lost signal. I cannot even provide much description of the cord because it DOESNT work. Very disappointing.

Unstable video
I was only using at 1080, and the video was unstable. Constant flickers and the video would completely drop out momentarily occasionally. It got worse over the week or so I was testing it. I also purchased a standard DP to HDMI cable, and then an HDMI to HDMI cable, all from the same manufacturer. The other cables work fine, but this one did not, even when only using one monitor.
