A great tool for knitters!
Fix-a-Stitch is one of those knitting accessories that I wondered why I'd never heard of it before. The dual ended crochet hook fix-a-stitch makes repairing dropped stitches remarkably easy, without all the fumbling and fussing that can happen when a stitch is dropped. The packet contains 3 hooks, one for bulky yarns, one for medium yarns such as DK or worsted, and a very fine one for fingering and lace weight yarns. A very hard to read (I have bifocals and needed to use a magnifying glass as well) instruction card is included. And there are several vids on Youtube to help as well. Definitely something I would recommend to friends! And well worth the money.!

Well worth the investment of time and money
I'm a pretty new knitter - 3 hats (one with cables!) and 2 ribbed scarves so far. The scarves introduced me to the joy of laddering back to fix mistakes using a crochet hook.turning my work to right side or wrong side so that I was only needed to repair knit stitches. Now I'm working on a double seed stitch scarf, with the ladder of 2 knits alternating with 2 purls, and boy do I appreciate this ingenious tool. Now I can repair knit and purl stitches easily and quickly without constantly turning my work over. The purl repair technique took me several minutes to master, but now it's automatic. Many thanks to the inventor.

It works!
Made eliminating mistakes a breeze! I can rip and re-knit or correct the error without ripping. Easy on the brain when trying to figure if it’s a knit or purl direction. I know this sounds like Greek but if you’re a knitter you will understand.

A very clever tool !
I saw this recommended by a knitting designer on YouTube. This fixed dropped stitches amazingly well. It works like a crochet hook, but no removing or twisting involved. I wish it came in a size for super- bulky yarn.

Fixing mistakes just got painless!!
What a fantastic product. Sure it looks like a double ended crochet hook, and it basically is, but the secret is in the clear, easy and video-supported technique. I can now correctly restitch singles or columns of knits, purls, garter or in patterns first time every time. I have found that the smallest of this set works for most sizes of yarn (fingering through worsted) even fine lace weight at my tension. Although I have all the available sizes of this tool (including the lace size) - this group of sizes is what I reach for!

Does the job
It would be so simple to make these from aluminum or steel. I can't imagine why they don't? These are very flimsy - and while - with some fiddling - they eventually do the job, I often end up ditching them for a rigid metal crochet hook. I'd gladly buy these again, for twice the price if they were made from metal. Great idea, terrible execution.

Great idea, not so great execution
This is a great (even brilliant) idea. I just wish it were executed better. The plastic is cheap and the molds are a little clunky. I would love to purchase a more highly evolved set of these, with more care taken with their design. My ideal ones would be metal and/or smoother, better molded, matte finished plastic - INOX makes wonderful crochet hooks, for instance. But I will use these because they do work. The price is quite high for the quality of hook provided, so I'll just content myself that I've mostly paid in for the concept, and hope the next iteration is better designed.
