Very Good Quality Pump
After much research I chose the Grundfos pump. It’s a bit more expensive than say a Watt brand but you get what you pay for. This is high quality, top notch manufacturing. I had my plumber install it and he said it was the best on the market. Install was easy. I have a 2000 sq. ft. one level home built in the 1980s. The only sink with instant hot water was my kitchen sink. All 3 bathrooms I was washing my hands in ice cold water because it took far too long to even begin getting luke warm water to the taps. The hot water was so cold it caused tooth pain when rinsing my mouth after brushing. I would have to waste a ton of water waiting for the shower water to get hot. Now I get warm water right away and really hot water in seconds. A sensor is installed on the water tap farthest away from the hot water tank. You can add more than one sensor. It comes with a timer but I chose to leave it on at all times as I get up multiple times a night to use the bathroom. The simple pleasures in life, hot water when you need it.

Got Hot Water
Works great on top of my water heater. Make sure your plumber reads the instructions and installed it on the water heater rather than under the kitchen sink. I had two plumbers who didn’t have a clue.

Really does save on water.
I live in Florida which is almost constantly on a water conservation alert. This little guy helps me save on gallons of water. I no longer have to wait up to 2 minutes for hot water to reach my showers and kitchen sink.I installed it myself, female, 65yrs old. So yes installation is easy. The faucet I attached it to does make a noise when the pump is on, and you use the water, but that is my fault for not putting a hammer arrestor on the line.I use it on timer, set to turn on for about an hour 3 times a day when I use the hot water the most. You still have the option of turning it on manually in between for an unexpected shower, just turn it on about 15 minutes before to let it circulate. you aren't wasting the water it just circulates back into the water heater through the cold water line. Gotta remember to turn it back to timer though, If it is left in on mode all the time, or the cold water isn't so cold.No more microwaving a tub of water to do the dishes, or waiting in a cold bathroom for the water to get hot enough to get in the shower.

Super
Great to have hot water upstairs so fast. Water heater is in basement of 3 story house. Was easily taking 4mins to get hot water upstairs... Now, depending on how I schedule the timer, I can get it instantanously or in just a few seconds. So far so good. Havent done the legwork to see how much water is no longer wasted, but feel sure it's significant

Parts missing
Received the pump, but never did get the valve and hoses that were supposed to be in the box with the pump.

Works fine; does what it claims
Very low noise at the water heater. The timer is easy to set but needs resetting for savings time changes and power failures. The warm water from the cold tap for a few seconds takes some getting-used-to.Installation tips: The thermostatic valve that goes under the sink has 1/2" fittings. My piping was 3/8". A trip to the hardware store and $20 got the adapters I needed. The valve doesn't care if it is horizontal with the ports on top, on the bottom, or the whole thing vertical or angled. Put it in however it fits best. Be sure you get the rubber gaskets in place in the connectors and get the threads started straight; they don't need to be too tight. You can put as many "comfort valves" under as many sinks as you'd like to get the hot water everywhere. Grundfos #595926, $55, is what you need. http://www.amazon.com/Grundfos-595926-Replacement-Comfort-Circulator/dp/B00128BIUUI don't buy extended warranties, but in this case, for $20, I got two extra years of coverage, four total. Some other reviews aren't encouraging about longevity.Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort System 595916

worked well
i purchased this system to bring hot water to my farthest bath room. it worked great. it looks like i would need to install a by-pass valve in each sink in the house. did have a hard time thinking that the bypass valve was so expensive to add to my system.
