These are so fun! My 9 year old started asking for more for Christmas before we even finished this one. Basically, it's like a bath bomb (not for baths though, which is my only complaint about the product--I would love to see them rework their formula so these are safe for baths!) but with a toy critter inside, and if my son and his friends are any indication, elementary school kids LOVE little creatures. Just like we loved our polly pockets and might maxs, kids still love little toys they can carry around in their pockets. It was easy to figure out how to activate it, and I appreciated that the toy was inside a little bubble, not just encases in the powdered ball, so I didn't have to clean it after we dissolved away the "egg". I definitely recommend this for 5-10 year olds

My son loves collecting these things. The little creatures are detailed and adorable. Fun to collect and do a little science experiment at the same time. My 5yo loves them.

My four year old loves tiny ugly monsters toys, so I knew this would be a hit with him as well. They are cute enough, and generally about what I expected. There are a few big areas where I think they just missed the mark. First, the eggs don’t fit in the bio-home. What a pain. This would have felt much more like science, which is pretty loose when describing this toy anyway, if he could have put the egg in the container and added water to allow it to dissolve. Second, I couldn't figure out if these were appropriate for a bath. Why not make them bath fizzers? That would have been much more convenient. Also, these fizz out super quickly. It would have been nice if they lasted a little longer.Also, saying that this is a seven piece set is not an actual lie, but is certainly a bit of a stretch. The paper pieces will end up in the recycle, so this is essentially two small monsters and one bio home.This toy isn't bad if you know what you are getting. Overpriced for sure, but fun for the kids.

It was so much fun watching the kids play with this. Also it has in the instructions some more experiments. It was one of their favorite Christmas gifts.

Got these for my 5 year old grandson's birthday in October and then my daughter in law put them on the boys' Christmas list because they liked them so much.

My grandson loves watching the eggs disappear, so he can find out which creature will appear next.

Interesting rainy day kit. You put a bath-bomb type thing into a bowl of water and see what type of creature is revealed and then look up what it's called. There is also another creature not inside of a bath bomb included. The creatures are really small so if your child still has a tendency to put things in their mouth or leave little things around for a sibling to put in their mouths, I don't recommend this. However, if you have a rainy afternoon (like we did today) and you keep hearing "I'm bored" (like we did today) this is a great way to keep the little ones entertained for a bit. These aren't toys they love and will cherish or keep forever but it's an interesting learning kit and my 4 and 5 year old had a great time with it.

Surprisingly uninteresting for my kids that are usually very interested in science kits. This was abandoned minutes after if was opened. It isn't recommended. Limited play time

My kids love these . They are very simple to use not messy and the kids love to collect them . We purchase them as an add on to birthday party gifts too!

This is a fantastic little set. Its very easy to use and great quality. My 8 year old son had so much fun revealing his Mystey Beaker Creatures and then displaying it in the Bio Dome. This is great for studying and displaying your creatures. The set is also great for my 2 year old and encourages sharing and playing together

The pod didn't fizz when I put it in our liquid reactor. It also says it comes with 2 creatures, I was expecting 2 pods but it only comes with 1 pod and 1 extra creature that's already out.
