Strong and fun!
On opening the package, my pups were immediately interested , the chipmunks peek out of several strategically placed holes in the tree trunk, looking cheeky and enticing, they each have a squeaker too and has kept my cane Corso and staff pups amused, served as a seek em out toy and a tug of war too!So far it’s faced a lot of rough play and still looks like new! Great value, well made and interesting soft toyI would recommend.

Nice toy for gentle play, but not one for toy shredders
I bought the big one jointly for a big adult labradoodle and a small, young cockerpoo pup. The squirrels are really well made, very sturdy, well sewn, hard stuffed and robust for soft toys and are lovely little toys for both dogs to carry about and to play fetch. They’re about the size of an apple with a tail. They seem a suitable size for both the big and small dog to play with. Neither of mine are destructive with their soft toys though but it probably wouldn’t last long for toy shredders. My recently passed away old Miniature poodle on the other hand wouldn’t have rested until he’d had the squeakers and stuffing out of every last squirrel so although the concept of the Find and pull out game game would have been absolutely perfect for him it probably wouldn’t have lasted long structurally. The trunk so far has endured a lot of sustained mouthing without any visible damage by the puppy and although it’s as big as him, it’s really light weight and gets carried about by the puppy no problem - it definitely wouldn’t stand up to much tug type play though but that’s not what it’s designed for and I remove it when I see that kind of play developing and offer a tug toy. Overall they seem to really like the toy. Doubles as a handy tidy up as well as there’s room inside to push a few extra small toys when they’re done playing.

Brilliant!
Bought this for our five year old Cockapoo and it's quickly become one of favourite toys (and she's got a LOT of toys) bought the large version which includes six squirrels. She absolutely loves it! There is always a squirrel near her as she loves to play with them. The squirrels themselves seem well made, and six months later, they are all still in good condition (although she is a very gentle dog and doesn't ever rip her toys apart). The 'tree trunk' that the little squirrels live in is also well made, although, as mentioned in other reviews, it doesn't stay standing up as there is no weight to the base of it. One game we play with her involves hiding treats inside the trunk and putting all the squirrels in it so that she has to pull them all out to get to her reward. I would highly recommend this for smaller dogs and I think it is excellent value for money!

Squirrels not durable
My dog loved this but very quickly three of the squirrels came apart. If you look carefully at the stitching this is quite poor. However some of the squirrels are still going as is the log. I shall just buy other toys to put in this. Seeing how the squirrels are made I would not purchase the extra pack. My dog is enjoying the toy.

The perfect toy for our seven month old puppy
The media could not be loaded. Our puppy prefers toys to food, so sourcing a good non-food related puzzle toy was important. He has played non stop since it arrived. So far, so good.

The dog loves it
Theo loves this toy. I was concerned about how small the squirrels may be but decided to try the XL size as thought it should be ok. - they are fine.He loves taking them out of the trunk/branch. And the squirrels even squeak! The squirrels are small and think it's probably not that durable - but then when are are soft toys durable for chewing dogs?Wouldn't leave it unsupervised but the numerous squirrels mean there's always another to tempt him to.Getting a second one now for my parents' dog.Excellent value for money as well.

Cute toy, but that's it!
Love the little squirrels in the log. I left this with him whilst I went to work. Once home it was clear my dog did not know what to do with it as it was where i had left it! I then tried to show him and still not interested until I squeaked a squirrel. He then took all the squirrels out easily after ripping a larger hole in the log. He then took each squirrel and ripped it apart to get the stuffing and squeak out. The squeak he took to chewing up, and I was present whilst he did this so I could take the bits away.So only lasted a few hours! Waste of money, but then I bought it for him and how he chose to play with it was up to him.I'm sure he enjoyed chewing up all the little squirrels!

Bought for my Welsh Sheepdog for Christmas - best purchase ever.
I've bought quite a few toys for my 18 month old Welsh Sheepdog. Tennis balls end up in pieces within days, stitching comes apart of furry dog toys and the stuffing ends up everywhere. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did, it keeps him amused for hours on many different levels and have now become his second favourite toy (nothing will beat his half chewed rubber ball though). With the 6 squirrels stuffed into it he loves to ferret them all out and throw them everywhere. He quickly learned what they were called and I can hide them around the flat and ask him to find them for me, and he'll spend a happy half an hour seeking them all out. He will play with the tree trunk for hours, ragging it, running round with it. It is really well made, and if it can stand the attentions of an overexcited collie it must be good.

Remarkably Designed
Pup loves puzzle like toys where things are hidden inside other things. This toy fills the bill with more than the traditional 2-3 internal items. Creative. Fun. Engaging. He loves every toy individually and collectively. Well made, compared to others with the same configuration. Squeakers within the main container make it just as attractive as the smaller toys. Would recommend!

Adorable
