On a past house I had a service company install a gutter protection system that did the job. That was a two story house that made it no fun to clean the gutters. Now I have a ranch home that allows me to clean gutters with just a 12' ladder. However, we have a lot of mature plantings around the house, and so it is difficult to get a ladder up to every where a clean-out is necessary. These Raptor gutter guards (they are available under various brand names, but all made by this company) are mesh like the expensive ones I had years ago. In doing my research I knew I had to have the micro mesh. Then I researched the best design, availability, flexibility (ease of doing corners), and price. Some brands have a slotted aluminum plate under the mesh. This might add strength, but it makes it harder to modify the shape when cuts are necessary. I found the Raptor mesh quite strong and b/c it is wavy, it keeps its shape (across the gutter). The 4 foot panels are easy to handle and easy to install. The whole job of 200' took a few hours, but I wouldn't be surprised if more time was spent moving the ladder and cleaning the gutters (for the last time), than actually installing the panels. I will say however, that the corners were tricky, but after a few, I got the hang of it. No more gutter cleaning for me. I'm a happy camper!

Very nice gutter guard. I bought this "sample" to get a hands on look at the item before deciding whether to use this item on my homes gutters. Very impressed with it's quality and have decided to go ahead and order enough of this item to cover all the gutters on my home. It really is very nicely built and installation, while perhaps a little time consuming, is very straight forward.

Appeared quality constructed. But unable to use as it doesn’t fit half round copper gutters on a mansard roof.

Excellent build quality and performance. I installed this on our house which is surrounded by mature trees. The rear of house has 8/18 pitch of 30 feet. So gutters would fill up quickly with debris. They also held up great to pressure of months of winter weather and snow. with steep pitch on one side gutters load with snow and ice. Screens held up great. I prefer the screw in for a couple reasons, first, removing is easier should that be needed, second, the adhesive for stick on(S) is bound to break down. Which will make them easy to swap for screw ons someday. An A frame ladder or lift bucket will make for a much faster/easier install vs traditional ladder.

Gear alternative to gutter guard. It would be nice, if they came in longer lengths, but it was okay. They went in pretty easy. The only issue I found is on the inside 90° turns where the water congregates and runs down the flashing, they can't handle a heavy rain and the rain runs over the top. I ended up putting on corner breakers from home depot on the gutters to help disperse the rain on the corners, and that seemed to help a lot. Overall they work well.

Just amazed. Not a single leaf has got into my gutters. The company who installed the originals when I PURCHASED THEM said they were a new design and designed by a woman. They were horrible. I am a 74 year old woman and installed these on my shop sitting in the woods with mega leaves and pinestraw. I installed them one year ago and still have no leaves or trash get through and they effortly just side off. Quality product, great value, and function perfectly.
