AcornSolution Vertical Mouse Wired Ergonomic High Precision Optical Mice (Wire mouse)

This is an excellent mouse, particularly at the price. On the pro side it is a good size and weight and is comfortable to use. This is the first of its type I have ever used and, whilst there is no doubt it takes a little get used to, once you get the hang of it the design allows for a more comfortable usage than a standard mouse. All the buttons work as they are supposed to and are relatively quite in operation and the dpi button is very effective and allows for a few different settings.This brings me to the slight niggles. Probably the most annoying is that it is far too easy to press the wheel when using it to scroll and this changes the scrolling motion and can be a little annoying. Having said that, I imagine any mouse with this feature would be the same. The second slight niggle is the ease of movement over surfaces, particularly mouse mats. The pads on the underside of mouse tend to 'drag' on some surfaces and I can imagine anyone using a cloth mouse mat would find this frustrating. Additionally the colour of the surface seems to be important. I use a black aluminium mouse mat (I won't advertise but they are available on Amazon) and found this absolutely ideal for both movement and accuracy. This is definitely not a mouse to use without a suitable mat.To sum up I would say this is a well made, solid mouse which does everything a mouse should do and I'm convinced it is more comfortable to use than a standard design. I am also a little amazed at the price which seems very little for what you get.

Good, but cheaply made. I'm using it on a laptop and my hand touches the USB while typing and it disconnects all the time. Very frustrating. Doesn't happen with anything else plugged in, so it's clearly the mouse.
