After learning how to suture recently, I've been on the lookout for an affordable suture pad to practice on. I'm so glad I found this one! The skin pad has multiple types of incisions to practice on and includes 3 layers of "tissue". Definitely beats practicing on bananas! Tools come organized in a sleek and easy to carry black case. This kit also came with 12 packs of sutures, 4 each of 3 different kinds (Nylon, Prolene, and Silk) and a handy pocket sized guide detailing the differences between different types of sutures and their common uses. The guide also included pictures and tips of common suturing techniques and when sutures are typically removed. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to anyone who is currently learning how to suture or is looking to improve their skills.

As a current PA student, I was looking for something affordable that I can use to practice my suturing skills! This kit has it all, from all of the instruments, difference sizes of suture, and a super cool suturing pad with a long lasting material. It even has a little card where you can use for reference during rotations as you practice your suturing. It also has a quick explanation of common suturing techniques and how to do them so you can practice. what I LOVE most about it are the videos that we had access to online to help you get starting on your suturing practice. I highly recommend this kit to those learning and sharpening their suturing skills. If for any reason you don't like it, you are allowed to email them and they can work something out.

I have been through a couple of suture kits already attempting to find one that can hold any type of suture I want to practice and finally came across this one! I love practicing a variety of sutures but most suture kits won't hold the suture in place, so it is hard to tell how your progress is going. In this picture I was attempting a running subcuticular suture and it was holding perfectly. I am currently in my clinical rotations and I would recommend this kit to any PA/medical student who wants to get some good quality practice in!

This product has everything you need! My suturing skills have improved so much by using this product in such a short period of time. I recommend it to all PA students and any other health professional students who need practice with suturing. The materials are very durable and worth the money! I love being able to practice suturing at home but this set comes with reverse cutting needles which tears through this material easily. The tears make it hard to reuse the “wounds” and renders this useless for long term practice. I also wish that the tissue pick ups did not have such a sharp “tooth”, it also contributes to damage. Overall, this is useful for practice but it gets damaged easily.
