Women's C5 Gore-tex Active Jacket (pack of 1)

This jacket was on offer, I already had a cycling anorak but I fancied something more breathable i. e. Gore tex. The jacket is light weight, it packs up very small. It's a nice fit. I've been using it for a few months now and I've been out in some serious rain and it's been waterproof. I haven't got too sweaty in it. And it seems to stop the cold wind getting through, fairly well. This is now my favourite cycling jacket, I would recommend.

Item description says Women's but it is actually a men's jacket. I bought this to replace a Gore Oxygen 2 jacket that I eventually wore out. The material is fantastic and is comfortable to wear (I have a 42" chest and went for XL which is an ideal fit). Unfortunately it is a bit of a backward step from the Oxygen 2 jacket - I would have liked it to have a bit more length in the back to fully cover my backside on the saddle. Also the Oxygen jacket has a better zipped cuff detail which worked better over gloves and avoided pressure points. Still a good jacket though.

A very good jacket with a better fit that most cyclists will be used to. I sent back the C3 active jacket after trying this one on as it addressed the velcro cuffs on the C3 and the cut is more fitting which means it wont flap about in the wind. I am 80kg and 5'10" with athletic build and the Large fits me perfectly with room to have a base layer and jersey underneath. In the C3 active jacket I had to drop to a medium to get a similar fit but it still felt tight in places. This is as good as jacket as you will find IMO, decent VFM and guaranteed gore water resistance etc.

Great jacket which folds easily into back of shirt pocket. This was ordered as a men’s jackets even though the description says women’s don’t be put off it fits me perfectly

Best waterproof I’ve ever had gave it a good test in heavy rain for over an hour and was totally dry after removing jacket

Great jacket at a bargain price. Fits great on the body but the arms seem a little long.

Very good on an Amazon instant deal I could actually afford one. Much drier in the rain now.

Sleeves are too long and the packaging says it's a men's jacket, but the website says it's for women. quality looks fine

Bin von der Jacke begeistert, sitzt bei mir in M sehr gut, Achtung , fällt relativ groß aus, kann diese Jacke in M über einer GOREWEAR C5 GORE-TEX INFINIUM Thermojacke in Größe L tragen ohne dass etwas spannt oder mit in den Bewegungen beeinträchtigt. Material ist nicht dehnbar und erstaunlich dünn, stabil, atmungsaktiv und bei sportlichen Aktivitäten dadurch relativ warm. sehr zufrieden damit

Ottima giacca, molto ben rifinita, presenta una tasca abbastanza capiente chiudibile con zip dietro la schiena, le cuciture sono termosaldate internamente, il windstopper non fa passare nulla, e in giornate con temperature intorno agli 8-10 gradi si può uscire tranquillamente mettendo sotto giusto un intimo a maniche lunghe e la maglietta estiva. La traspirabilità è buona, si tende un po' a sudare se si percorrono salite impegnative, ma in modo accettabile. La uso per uscite in MTB e sembra resistere bene ai rovi, e non rimane macchiata dal fango, ma non l'ho ancora provata con pioggia pesante. La giacca veste abbondante. Ho preso una L, io sono alto 1,83 per 72kg e sotto la giacca è possibile mettere anche una maglia termica all'occorrenza senza sentirsi costretti. La consiglio sicuramente.

This garment is the perfect combination with a light wool base layer for 45-65 F Temps. At 6ft 205 lbs 43 chest and 36W the XL fits perfect with my merino 150 wool base layer. The arms and back flap are long which is a must for when you want to ride the drops. Great wind stopper. It is a breathable GoreTex product but keep in mind, you will still accumulate a lot of sweat which is why I'm recommending a light weight Merino wool base layer.

Die Jacke ist in jeder Hinsicht sehr angenehm zu tragen. In der Leichtigkeit, in der Qualität und Weichheit des Materials und in der Passform (ich bin 1,73 und habe hier Gr. 42 bestellt. Ansonsten trage ich bei vielen anderen Marken Gr.40). Die Ärmel sind endlich mal ausreichend lang - gar 1-2cm länger, da sie bei ausgestreckten Armen beim Fahren etwas hochrutschen. In der Länge optimal und in der Weite nicht zu weit, so dass auch bei kühlen Temperaturen bequem eine isolierende Schicht unter der Jacke anziehen kann, ohne dass sie zu eng wird. Aber auch nur ein T-Shirt darunter, trägt sie nicht "dick" auf. Die vom Hersteller beschriebene gute Atmungsaktivität konnte ich bei einer Fahrt bei ca. +10 Grad bestätigen. Trotz sportlicher Fahrt, blieb die Jacke von innen immer trocken.
