Prime-Line MP7729-50 Screen Frame Corner, 5/16 In. x 3/4 In., White Plastic (50 Pack)

I had 6 window screens for which these plastic pieces had rotted, so the screens were falling apart. Everything else about the screens was fine, so I did my research and found these new plastic pieces. I watched a YouTube video on how to replace these plastic pieces. I measured carefully and ordered the right size. I was able to do just what they did on the YouTube video, which was carefully pull out the spline near the corners, replace the corner plastic pieces, and then push the screen and spline back into the channel and VOILA! It went PERFECTLY! It took me about 20 minutes per screen. Saved me around $80 per screen to have them remade at ACE Hardware. So, that's a savings of around $480. Very happy I tried this project, saved the money, and developed confidence in this new handywoman repair job.

Perfect fit was able to have my screen revived and placed back on window to enjoy fresh Air without worrying about mosquitos

If you are making completely new frames, these will work for you. As stated, they are not "3/4 inch corner blocks. They are '13/16ths. subtract "1 5/8ths from you overall measurements for each run. Also they say they are "5/16ths, again not true. You have to clip the edges off, not hard to do but why? Another issue, you need to clip a small post off the inside to allow the spline to go around the corners. Other than that, they work fine.

Great corners, do exactly what they are supposed to do. Lots in a pack so only needed to buy then once. Durable and easy to use. Slightly flexible.

Works exactly as expected :-) The 50 pack is a good value if doing multiple screens.

I purchased the 5/16 In. x 3/4 screen frame corners to fit into existing screen frame. I remember reading a review saying that the corners are actually a bit larger than 3/4". I didn't think that this would be a problem. But it was. When they arrived, I measured them to be 1/16" larger than 3/4". Unfortunately, gaining 1/8" along each side of the screen frame, in addition to gaining an additional 1/8" from new tension springs that I also purchased, required that I cut each frame member to be able to fit the screen windows into place. Other than that, I wish that the faces of the frame corners were not indented as I'm sure that this will only act to collect dust and spiders, but that's what this manufacturer offers. They do seem to be strong and durable, and they are offered at a good price compared to brand names. Note that they are a tight fit, and I had to use a rubber mallet to bring the pieces together. Overall, a good product, but my rating is for the size being different than what is stated in the dimensions. Depending on whether you are building new screens or re-using existing window screen frames, the latter may require re-sizing the aluminum frames.

I could not find the exact fit window screen corners after I broke one removing the frame. Instead of driving all over the place looking for a replacement, these came up with an Amazon search.. The corners are slightly oversize, and a little shorter than the originals. A bit of sanding with 120 grit paper adjusted them to the perfect fit. I have a huge number of spares now and that suits me fine. If one corner broke from UV brittleness, other screens the same age will need the same attention.
