This antenna looks great and is made of quality materials. It's solid, nicely coated and looks great! Unscrew the old antenna, screw the adapter on (if needed) then the new antenna. My ONLY complaint about this antenna is that reception is somewhat compromised. My local stations are still fine though. Some farther stations, or those with weaker broadcast strength are where the struggle happens. This unit is MUCH smaller, but it has a great look, fit and finish, so as long as a little loss in some signal isn't problematic for you; it's a great option. I use a lot of streaming music, and only terrestrial radio for local stations. Local stations aren't affected in my case as I said before.

This is one of those things you want to love but the first time I went through the car wash (declared "car wash safe" in the description) I came out with nothing but a little stub of a bolt left in the mount. I guess it is better that the antenna broke rather than the mount. Anyway, I returned the little stub and got a refund so that was nice.

Looks so much better than the fly-rod-looking antenna from the dealership. Works fine, but I bought it for looks since we use SiriusXM. Picks up local AM/FM.

Better then what I expected for price. Solidly built product, good finish glad i got this over the bullet antenna. Put a small dab of lock tight on threads so no one steals it

Looks awesome but dramatically redusces what FM stations you can get. Good thing I literally NEVER listen to terrestrial radio. XM all the way
