I bit confusing at first as you need to adjust the lens all the time, I don't see why it just cant be automated like every other digital camera, also on day one I needed to remove my phone cover to attach, which resulted in my dropping my phone and breaking the screen, maybe add a bit more clearing to the usb. Image quality is good, not great and the software takes a while to get use to. Besides from all this, it does its job and is a fantastic tool to have about the home. Good for showing where the attic insulation is thin, without getting itchy, just point it at the ceiling, or if radiators have pipes in the wall, turn on the radiators and watch the wall glow.

From the outset I should say I am Very pleased with this device, it's done everything I’d wish for and more, the resolution is very good indeed for such a reasonably priced device, I’ve have had no problems with stability using a iphone 11 pro and it has worked perfectly from day one with this combination, its primary purpose was to evaluate heat loss in a 600 year old thatched property with Victorian extension and has exceeded in all areas. Plus the delivery from HK took six days which I am very pleased about, so all round I'm very happy with this purchase. If you are in the market for an infrared camera you're unlikely to go far wrong with this unit. so highly recommended.

When fitted to my phone the picture was so indistinct it was impossible to determine what you were looking at. Aimed at a tree full of birds and it didn't show any. Waste of money. Returned.

I bought this for use with my Nexus 5X, which is on the list of compatible phones. It works fine, and this really is a quite amazing piece of kit. Instant visual heat mapping of anything you point it to. If you put your hand on a wall then take it away and point the camera at the wall, you'll see a heat shadow for a few seconds, as an example of how sensitive it is. However, if your phone is not on the compatibility list, be prepared for it not to work - I tried it on my Honor 10 lite with an adaptor to the micro-USB connector on the Honor, and it didn't work at all, couldn't detect the camera - but USB OTG is working absolutely fine, I can connect a memory stick and the Honor will detect that with no problems. I really don't know whether it would be any different if I'd tried it with the correct micro-USB version of the camera, but that's the problem - there's very little info to be had on this camera. Having said all that, using the Nexus 5X, I'm a very happy customer.

So to justify me buying this, you can see people's temperature from a distance.... I know it's a poor excuse, but whatever. I was more than surprised with the quality and capabilities of this little unit. Out in the park at midnight, and could pick up a fox across two football pitches. Amazing. The only con is my main phone it is a little loose and the camera sometimes switches off, but in an old phone it's perfect. I can literally walk through the park in complete darkness.

Bought this a bit blind as to whether this would work with any Samsung phones and without any adpaters or converters this thing just plugs and plays on the Samsung Note8, S10+, Note 10+5G. Well worth the investment.

A cool (pardon the pun) boys toy. I'm glad I've previously had struggles with my phone relating to the connection on a one plus 5t, consequently I understood that I'd need to allow it to connect via settings which the manufacturer wouldn't have been able to help me with. The resolution is alright but not fantastic (the reason only 4 stars). Have had some good images but to get something more satisfying I've used Mirror Lab image manipulation to give a more worthwhile image. Expensive just for a bit of fun but it may be really useful one day.

To view heat from machines and electrical devices and No Dislikes. Checking heat from machines before and after service shows the fixes. Works better than expected. I use a S8 phone designated for the job of display and photo capture.
