CHARGES & PROTECTS
PURCHASE DATE: 30DEC18PRICE PAID: $13.99REVIEW DATE: 20JAN19UPDATE: 03DEC23I was looking for a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch protective case but was only finding cheap rubber looking silicone cases. I was not convinced that those silicone cases would be great protectors. I ran into this Spigen case and decided to buy it. I have owned Spigen before and never had any issues. The case is light in weight, rugged, and has a tough feel. I already smacked it against a few things and no damage. I did add a tempered glass cover to my watch as well. The case is easy to install. You take off the watch bands and put the case on (see attached photos). The rubber needs to be stretched a little bit to be placed around the watch. The stretch does not ruin or overstretch the case. The cut-outs for the microphone, speaker, and bezel are on point. You can still talk through the watch easily. I bought the case for the protection but please note if you like to use the rotating bezel instead of the touch screen you might not like it. The bezel is not that easy to rotate and will take some getting used to. The bezel cut-out is on the left side of the case.No issues charging (see my attached photograph). I was worried about the charging after reading others reviews but I have not had any issues. The buttons are easy to press. The case does not interfere with the button functions. So far so good and I will update this review if anything arises.UPDATE - 03DEC23: Still own it 5 years and no issues. After a workout or sweaty activity I make sure to wipe it down.PLEASE NOTE: I do these reviews to help people out. This review is my honest opinion after doing much research and purchasing this product for personal use. Prior to purchasing any product I conduct thorough research, test the item, and photograph it prior to posting a review. THANK YOU!

Sturdy, nice fit, easy operation, CHARGES FINE for me
I just got this case to replace one of the generic TPU cases that are all over AMAZON. The Spigen case is WAY better and offers considerably more protection. The button presses have nice tactile feedback and the case makes the watch look more rugged. There are a few things I want to address from other reviewsA. Bezel operation is still easy and simple with left handed wear. Maybe it's because I grew up in the age of the calculator and 6+ button watches. Even though this case covers 3/4 of the bezel (providing more protection), it is still REALLY easy to operate with the classic thumb / index finger watch pinch. It doesn't add any resistance and my hand doesn't even cover any part of the screen when rotating the bezel with my thumb. I honestly don't understand all the people complaining about the bezel.B. I have ZERO problems getting it to recognize on my charger instantly. I have tested it out a bunch and I cannot get the watch to not recognize the charger. I am wearing a Nato band which is considerably thinner and more flexible so maybe this has something to do with it.Compared to the no name TPU case I got for my Galaxy watch (46mm), this case is superior in all aspects except size. It's not that much bigger but it is a little bit bigger. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the MOST PROTECTIVE case for their investment. I plan on keeping this on my watch for it's life and will update my review if/when any issues arise.

Best Cover/Case for Galaxy Watch
Perhaps a few of the reviewers here did what I first did and put the case on, upside/down. I thought, wow, it doesn't fit! Then I took another look and realized that the opening for the watch face was facing down - doh! OK, so after re-positioning the Spigen case I got a better idea of how it would work. Yes, the buttons are more difficult to press, but I'm either getting used to it or the case is flexing more over the past week of use. Also, I could also complain that the bezel is hard to get at, but after this case saved me from a few scrapes on door frames and other objects which have scratched dials, cases, and bezels on previous smartwatches I'm more tolerant. Also, I've always been more a screen swipe user than a bezel rotator. However, one thing that this case provides that others do not is a slot or cutout on the left side to allow access to the top of the bezel and that's good enough for me, although others may be disappointed that the entire bezel, and especially the notches on the outside, are not accessible. I bought a set of metallic looking TPU cases for the Galaxy Watch from another maker. They were flimsy and offered little protection. The Spigen case for the Galaxy watch is consistent in quality with their phone cases. It is thicker and the ridge at the top definitely offers protection to both the bezel and the glass screen. This case is staying on as added protection for my investment.
