Has anyone made cheese straws with this. they are an extremely hard consistency to express. i've broken every cookie press i've tried, including pam

Is this truly stainless steel? or aluminum? I've seen other models, all made by Mercato, but some say aluminum. I'm confused.

no handle extension . not necessary when making cheese straws or cookies. I love my Marcato Biscuit/cookie press.

In regards to your question, the press provides two sizes. Easily adjust cookie sizes from large to small with just the turn of a knob; yields 35 to 40 small cookies and 20 to 25 large cookies. Simply remove the top, insert the disc shape, and fill with dough. Each press of the handle advances the dough with a firm, gentle pressure for consistent looking cookies.
