Glasses aren’t boxed
I can’t comment on the taste and quality of these drinks, as I have purchased them for my dads Christmas present this year. Fingers crossed he will enjoy them. I had previously read through the reviews and everyone had commented on them being their favourites, so that helped me decide to purchase them. The only thing I’m not to pleased about, is the fact that the glasses don’t come boxed. Each bottle of whiskey comes in it’s own tubular box, which is great and what you expect anyway. And I honestly thought, after viewing this item, that the picture was of the two bottles and two little tubular boxes with the glasses inside them. So I was completely shocked when I opened the usual cardboard 📦 to find the glasses just inside a bubble thing which began to pop immediately. So what I thought was an ipa box and a xx box the same as the whiskey tubes in the picture are the actual glasses. One is black and the other a bronze colour. I haven’t got a clue how I’m going to be able to gift wrap just glasses without any protective cover etc?! Had I known it was just two glasses you get without being boxed. I would have just purchased the bottles separately and cheaper! But to late now, as how could I send them back without them smashing? I just hope my dad will enjoy this as a Christmas present.

One good one not so much!
The IPA, while an interesting experiment, is a bit disappointing. The smell from the bottle when you uncork it is a fantastic combo of ale and classic Glenfiddich. The smell once poured in the glass dissipates quickly, leaving just whisky fumes, and the taste while your brain might be telling you there's IPA in there, it is so slight you'd be forgiven for thinking it's just a Glenfiddich 12.Project XX on the other hand... Wow! If you've had Glenmorangie Signet, a bit like that but different and less refined (and at under half the price you'd expect it wouldn't you?!) If you haven't been fortunate enough to have tried Signet, it's caramel, almost chocolatey, with liquorice and then a strong smoke in the tail. Now that was a great experiment!

That was gift for my husband. He absolutely love it! Glasses are treated as a souvenir as he likes his whisky in the normal crystal glass but flavour of both didn’t let me down.

Liked both but IPA was slightly better, XX was a good malt too but nothing out of the ordinary

Definitely Recommend!
Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, he was absolutely over the moon with them, loved the matching glassware, really hearty great quality products. Quick delivery, packaged very securely, would definitely recommend!
