basic phone clamp does the job
2021 purchase. works just fine. will not work for tablet. product description a little more trustworthy than wording a pictures let on. i had no issue with use.

Simple and secure
This has been the only phone tripod mount I've used since I discovered it four years ago. Other phone mounts I tried before this used excessively complex designs and/or did not hold position securely and/or did not hold the phone securely. This mount is compact, simple, yet with its two-piece design it lets me easily switch between vertical and horizontal orientation. After four years of use, this mount is in as good condition as when I first bought it. I am on this page because I'm buying two more.

Very good mount point for a cell phone
I use multiple older cell phones for their video capabilities only, and mount these on tripods throughout the venue space. Someone knocked over a tripod and I needed a replacement mount for my video activities. This unit - even though plastic - is well made and fits the tripod connector perfectly. Works great!

Better than expected
I broke the original phone holder to my stand and found this one. I purchased because it uses a manual expander instead of a spring. It is easier to turn the holder landscape or portrait instead of having to adjust my full stand. It is easy to use and adjust. This is a good purchase.

Not very strong
This would probably work better with a small or lightweight phone, but unfortunately I have a heavy bulky phone with a giant battery, so the stand flexes all over. It holds the phone securely, but isn't very stable. It seems to be decently made, holds all positions great, and fits a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount stud.

Good quality, strong and easy to use. It will not creat any pressure on ur phone. It’s support iPhone 7+. And there is no jerk while using. Only problem is delivery time. U must have some patient’s.

Wenig als Stativ für Nacht-Fotos geeignet. Als Lösung für einen Selfie Stick geeignet, für mehr eher nicht.

Le pivot circulaire bouge tout le temps. Donc pas moyen de bloquer le matien de téléphone à une certaine rotation. J’ai dû enlever les dents qui connectent la le maintien de téléphone au pied principal, et ça sert mieux, et donc ne bouge plus.
