Awesome for Fur and Whiskers!!
I absolutely love these pencils. I initially saw them recommended on a Youtube review of best white pastel and this one came out high , if notnfirstnon the best for its opacity and intense brilliant white. I decided to give it a try. I ordered these from Amazon USA as we dont have these available here in SA and I am extremely pleased I did. Theyre affordable and they create the most amazing Animal Whiskers (and pet portrait artists nemisis, is finding the right white to go over the final layers for Whiskers ). Thry are just the right mix of soft and hard to achieve the colour depth and fine detail needed for hair and furs. The added bonus, is there are 4 pencils in this pack and that made it even more economical to purchase.

Nice, bright white
I use they to draw my design on an acrylic background. They show up nicely and is easy to remove if needed.

Don't work with watercolors
I saw a video online of an artist who said these pencils were great to use with watercolors. I tried and couldn't get any markings on my watercolor picture at all. Maybe using them alone to sketch might be great.

These worked great for drawing on craft paper to paint a banner. I recommend them. The price was good too

Perfect for painting.
These chalk pencils come sharpened for immediate use. They are so good for drawing on a base coated surface. The chalk will erase easily or come off with water.

Maybe better in different applications
The chalk doesn’t mark very well on fabric. I tried sharpening the point but it hasn't helped. Sorry but i was pretty disappointed

Great chalk pencils for fine, small writing or detailing
These chalk pencils are opaque and MUCH better than the chalk pencils that came with my calendar chalk board. They erase easily for small mistakes, but I prefer to clean off my board each month with a bit of warm water and a rag. All you need is a basic pencil sharpener to keep these going. When compared to a liquid chalk marker, they are obviously going to be less crisp, but I like that they are going to be less waste when they’re down to the last bit of nubs after sharpening. Comparing to the chalk pencils I had previously, they are superior.
