Since 2020, my wife and I make our own laundry detergent. Usually we purchase a bar of Fels-Naptha and grate it up. This is way easier. It's hypoallergenic, and performs great. The cleaning action is the same as every other major brand. Personally, I use it in conjunction with Oxiclean, Washing Soda, and an enzyme cleaner.

I really like this and would give it 5 stars but it needs to dissolve in cold water first before adding clothes. If not the flakes are all over clothes even after even a second rinse. It dissolves great in hot water. I love the way it is unscented. Ingredients are great. I mix it with washing soda & some borax. Gets clothes super clean & is gentle. Adding a few drops of lavender essential oil in rinse-it’s honestly the best detergent. I should add that I have a top loader.

I have been making my own powdered laundry detergent for a couple of years and I did not want to have to grateful castile soap so these soap flakes have been a great option! It's currently time to make more...

We absolutely love these tallow flakes. We mix it with borax and washing soda and our laundry comes out fantastic. I love that there's no Odor and it works really really well. There's so much less waste now that we don't buy bottles and bottles of detergent. It doesn't affect anybody's skin badly either. This is our second purchase and we are lifelong customers.

OK, prompted to write a review, accidentally hit a star, can't seem to get out of it so will tell you I just ordered it, had only two loads of laundry with it. And, I used 1 tbsp for each load since I have yet to combine with my previous 10 lbs of homemade laundry powder.Back story, - husband thought he could make on his own homemade laundry powder (I truly so appreciated since I was working so much) but he forgot to add the soap. Soooo, Due to time restrictions I decided to just order this to add to what was made. I did add to our previous homemade powder laundry soap and I am amazed! I have previously bought the Zote soap flakes, but they didn't dissolve, but these do for my two loads so far and my newer washer! Thank God! What a time and money saver!So far I am golden. I'll write later to this should anything change.
