Fluance speakers are awesome sound producers
Bought a pair of Fluance entry level passive floorstanding speakers, the sound, the bass, the mids, and the highs are balanced. Rich, powerful, clear, easily driven speakers. I am very pleased, especially since I got them used off of Amazon for a little over $200.

What could have been?
Well my likes is they got sent to me fairly fast from Canada to Virginia. You know I got them in like 9 days but the problem was when I got them. Only one of the speakers worked. The Tweeter on the other speaker did not work and the woofers were cut on and off. It was a real disappointment because I know for a fact fluance has amazing product. I mean I just noticed I have a pair of bookshelf speakers that I'd give five stars to. I have an rt83 turntable. I'd get five stars too. And if it wasn't for that one speaker not working they would have got five stars for this because the sound that come out of that one speaker was phenomenal. It really was. It was just really good sounding speaker and it wasn't even broken in yet and it sounded that good already. I got in touch with the company and they were just wonderful people to me. I was going to send them back for a replacement but it would have took 10 days to get there 10 days for them to process it and then 10 days for them to send it back to me and I didn't want to wait that long. I just got a brand new Marantz amplifier and I wanted some Tower speakers to put them to use so I end up selling for the next best thing which to me was the Klipsch f200. But yes I highly recommend this company cuz the things I have got from them was not Tora was not damaged. I got it quickly. They shipped it out the same day they I ordered it. It was just the bad tweeter. It was double boxed. It was well packaged and they did not give you a hard time about my refund. They immediately approved it and sent me a shipping label. So yes, I highly recommend them in this company

00 and it was a great bargain. They don't sound good until you play ...
I bought them on sale for $99.00 and it was a great bargain. They don't sound good until you play them for at least 5 hours. Then they begin to sound better. And the more you use them they keep sounding better. After the break in period(about 10 hours of playing at moderate level) they are awesome. Perfect for a midsize living room. I would recommend these to a friend.

The smaller SX6 convinced me to try these - good choice
First off, if you have a quality amp that is bi-amp capable then these speakers will sound very good. They sound fine when not bi-amped, but I felt that bi-amping with the extra amp for each input really worked well with these speakers. The 6.5" drivers and rubber surrounds are well-constructed and made to last many years under normal conditions. Both drivers are internally crossed at 3500 Hz with PCB Phase Mount. The silk dome tweeter is smooth and somewhat tame/mellow, and the cabinet has internal bracing. The frequency range seems to go lower than the 49Hz that is listed, in my listening area 42-44Hz is more accurate. I've been running them with a 12" subwoofer and usually crossed beteween 60-90HZ on my amplifier settings depending on source mastering. Bass extension is also good, with the cabinet being 13" deep. Very responsive to tone control & crossover settings. There are 2 small circular bass ports on the rear, I've plugged one to get a bit tighter bass. Quality binding posts(4) on the back that are easily accessed and well made. Really no complaints, and with 89dB sensitivity @ 8ohms the speaker is very easy to drive and fun to listen to. A good match with my mid-level audiophile equipment and hi-res audio sources. They are my 4th set of different towers, but the lightest and easiest to move.I've only used the speakers as fronts in a 2.1 channel configuration, with all music being digital flac files or streaming from Qobuz and Tidal into a ESS9038 DAC & Onkyo RZ820. I think the cabinet design makes jazz & acoustic music stand out, which is really fine with me. Play them 20-30 hrs before judging, they do benefit from break-in of the drivers. Would buy them again, the white ones next time. The Fluance Co. arranged the free shipping, which was quick and hassle free and has good customer support that is responsive. I wanted to try these speakers as I was initially impressed by the SX6 bookshelf spkrs that I purchased several years back. The sound is dynamic but fairly neutral and worked well with several of my amps. They did not disappoint me, quite the opposite. And yes, they are budget speakers. Also, they do not include the attachable wooden bottom plate which is shown in the item pictures, only spikes or flat bottom which is a bummer. I asked them twice to no avail.

Well, WELL worth every single Penny...
"At first, I'd love to say that so far, I'm extremely satisfied with Amazon on their very fast delivery methods... Second, there's NO way these sound THIS good for this NO-WAY price... O.M.G.... Outstanding, in every detail... Mind you, I'd purchased these (A PAIR) for that same "NO WAY" price... ($149.00 A PAIR) and the quality, sound is in-comparable to any I've owned so far... Outstanding sound, ( I'd only given them a 48 Hour "Work-out") at even a moderate volume... Can NOT beat these with not only an "Ugly-Stick", but you're NOT going to beat these with the entire "Ugly-Tree"... Way, WAY too good... Damn... I'm seriously thinking about ordering that entire 5 Channel Speaker system this Company has to offer... OUTSTANDING... (To even utter the least)... Outstanding... Bi-Amp, Bi-wire... Geeze, Louise...

Bad experience.
Speakers arrived with gouges in them, but nothing that would prevent them from functioning. Sound quality is pretty terrible with these speakers too. The high end is harsh, mid range is irritatingly twangy and the low end is just non existent. I am not happy with them at all, but I'm also a live sound desk jockey. I've been designing sound systems for churches and running sound for 18 years, so I kind of know what speakers are supposed to sound like. I know these are not for live sound, but the basics are still the same. The worst part is the customer service from Fluance. When I contacted them about the speakers arriving damaged, it was a bad experience completely.

The sound quality cannot be beaten at this price.
These speakers sound like speakers 3 times the price. I really am happy with my purchase. They were a couple days early and the packaging was really professionally done. Double boxed.. I would highly recommend these speakers

Very pleased, great value for the money
Very pleased, great value for the money. The speakers arrived on time, with no damage what so ever. Great packaging. What ever these speakers lack in base, they more than make up for with aesthetic appearance and overall value. They are pretty well sized floor standing speakers also, they are not small. Good match with a budget amplifier. I coupled them with a YAMAHA R-N301. Good match. I highly recommend these speakers for the amateur audiophile. I will be purchasing FLUANCE products in the future. I will also be shopping from ShopTronics in the future.

Great value
Excellent speakers. Perfect for my “vinyl corner”. They are stand alone, not part of a home theatre setup. Great bang for the buck.

Cheap materials, non existent customer service
The speakers arrived damaged and the seller ignores my return requests so now I'm stuck with broken speakers. STAY AWAY!!!
