I love the fact that the tension of both the shear and the thinner can be adjusted for each individual's hands. Makes it much easier to get a clean cut and the thinner gives dimension to the hair. The finger ring inserts also are a great add - helps you get the right fit with for ease of trimming. I would certainly recommend this Silk Cut duo.

I’ve only used the shears so far this week, and I love that they cut so smoothly. I’ve always used 6 inches but you didn’t have that available so I went with 5.75 and I love them. I hope they stay sharp.

Unfortunately my husband's hair hasn't stopped growing to accommodate COVID 19 so I took to "chopping away" at it. My little vanity scissors just didn't seem to do the trick so I went looking for some better ones. Found these and cannot tell you how easy it makes the task. They are nicely balanced, super sharp and fit comfortably over your thumb (mine are kind of fat). It's great to be able to adjust the tension just by turning the little screw with your fingers. No running around looking for a little screw driver. I don't know if I'll use the thinning shears but the set was a good price. Less expensive than some of the barber shears I found on other sites; a good value.

15 years in the industry and I love these shears. Very smooth, sharp, and they have a great weight to them.
