The One Minute Manager

Simple read and to the point. Using basic Pavlovian conditioning to manage employee behavior. I found this book extremely helpful in how I was approaching my employees. It is amazing how you forget the basics when you are stuck in the rigmarole of the day. This was a great reminder to get back to basics on consistent and instant feedback. I would recommend to all managers and parents as the concepts absolutely apply to behavior in the home.

Read this for my business courses and had some great insight. Enjoyable book, doesn't take to long to read either. Highly recommend!

If you are a new manager as well as an experience manager and haven’t read this book, you really and truly need to read this book. It teaches you how to get things done productively, effectively, and efficiently! You don’t even have to stand over your employees or watch the cameras. Every manger and everyone else on the hierarchy and up should know that management, on the basic level, is managing through people to get work done. If you want to learn different tactics to increase overall success in your organization, whether for-profit or non-profit, this book is the letter a in chronologically order in the alphabet. (A)-Z!!! Best "management" book I have listened to yet. Most of the implementations can begin immediately and learned quickly. I have passed the CD to our managers & have gotten fantastic feedback from them as well. The audio book is short enough to listen two multiple times as a person has availability. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

I am so glad that I got this cd. i listened to it in the car every time I went out. This really helps to understand your business and how to run it efficiently. I still listen to it on and off because it just helps motivate me when I need it. This cd puts things into perspective on how to handle your employees and let them understand what is truly expected of them instead of letting them guess. Great Great Tool for Business!!!!

I love the content. There are daily situation examples of manager and real actions how the one minute manager handles the performance of his employees. Precise, simple, recommendable. Condition of the book was as promised.
