I like how bright these lights are and how easy they are to use. Install was pretty simple and you really can't go wrong buying the traxxas branded lights if you already have the car cuz they all work together perfectly. A little pricey for two little light bars but it does have some nice features like brake lights and reverse lights and a high and low beam. I'm usually pretty happy with traxxas, so we'll see how this lasts as time goes on.

It's a great light kit on it's own as it's very bright and can easily be seen even during a bright day. Using the Bluetooth link app gives you some really nice control of the lights that you don't see on most other light kits. What could make this better, is if Traxxas designed the rear bumper to also take the light bar like the front bumper. Having the rear light bar mounted on the body, on the rear cab "window", is a really bad idea if you actually bash this thing like it's meant to be. Once the body flies off on a rough landing, that filament thin cable leading to the light bar will be ripped out of either the bar or the extension cable in a destructive way. If you're patient and good with a utility knife, you can get the bar mounted in the slot that looks like it was actually designed for it but was not completed. I've been using the Traxxas TRX-4 light kit in my crawler, and while it's not nearly as bright, it's been dependable even after a year of rough usage (put thru water/snow/mud). Also, if you plan to also use the Traxxas Telemetry Expander module to get GPS or voltage/temp readings, you can mount the power amp on the steering turnbuckle below the area where Traxxas tells you to. This way you can mount the Expander on top to get a clearer view of the sky.
