The new favorite
First off they come in packs of 3 and in different sizes. I could not find various colors but they may have not been available at the time of my purchase. Great product love these SumoGrip erasers a good finish eraser they are easy on most ink pigments no fading. Initial sketch penciling is removed with ease leaves no smudged marks at all and stays clean after use something most erasers, even the top brands can become a little dirty and need to be cleaned. More importantly no eraser to paper smudging as long as your using H series pencils or pencil leads like 2H, 3H,4H and the like. You heavy handed guys n gals with your B series leads that some love to use you troublemakers though sumo’s still work well on softer leads points but can still leave faint lines. One of the best products I’ve ever encountered hands down or up! However you choose to celebrate highly recommend SumoGrip

Best I’ve ever used
These are the best erasers I’ve ever used. They erase very cleanly with little force on the paper so the paper is unharmed. I bought these to erase all the hand written notes in a used college text because the information was incorrect and distracting. I used the eraser continuously for nearly three hours until I had completed the task. I still have almost half of the first one left and have two more ‘spares’ The book looks nearly new now and none of the pages were harmed. On most you can’t even tell that anything was ever written. I’m very impressed. I

Best Eraser I've ever used
This is the best thing I used. No smearing and cleans it nicely. They are smaller than they appear but I've been using them a lot and haven't even made a dent in my first one. Highly recommend to anyone who is still writing with pencil.

Great for sheet music!!
As an orchestral musician, I wind up getting parts that have to be completely erased to put in new bowings or are covered in extraneous marks I want to remove. For smaller jobs, a smaller eraser works just fine, but for big jobs this large model is amazing. Doesn’t damage the paper or printing, doesn’t smear, erases completely. I give them to colleagues as little thank yous sometimes. A great tool to have available!

Erases well, gentle on paper, clip and shape handy for storage in pen case
It's a very good general eraser. Erases fast and cleanly. Gentle on paper surface. Does not create a cool single string, as shown in the vid, but rather makes typical eraser dust (altho maybe merged into a few small worms). No biggie, but I was excited about the one strand concept. Form factor of eraser stick and holder is a bit chunky to my taste for precision. But on the other hand, the fat pen-like shape of Sakura and the clip mean it can store where pens and mechanical pencils do, instead of a pocket or pouch. I wish the holder had a longer taper towards the eraser so I could see better what I was erasing when I had less than 1/2" of eraser stick exposed so that it was firmly supported by the holder. (This one LOOKS very cool, but I prefer working with a Faber Magic-Rub 1960.) The holder has an interesting simple, broad-sided visual design that's just begging for some cool molded Sumo guy graphics. (I removed the sticker right away.) It's not the end-all-be-all of pencil-lead erasers, but works very well for medium and larger areas, say, 5mm and wider. I can see it replacing the traditional block eraser in my drawing kit, especially in one of my trimmed-down travel kits.

Homeschool Mom Tested - Clear Winner
These are actually more than hype - they are the real deal. When you homeschool young boys, you get to see the carnage of a penciled mistake in the student workbooks. With pink erasers, and white erasers, and basically every other style of eraser, you get an attempt from the kiddo - sort of - to erase a mistake, and hope it didn't destroy the work page in the process. You also get teeny tiny pieces of eraser dust - everywhere. That gritty stuff sinks into carpets or just sits there on the desk or in the pencil area until someone comes along to clean it. Add to that, what was supposed to correct a mistake by erasing completely, barely faded it with the half hearted attempts from a young kid to get on with finishing the work. What's left behind bleeds through to the correction making the entire thing an illegible mess. I stared at these a long time, digging in my heels like a sullen kid, just KNOWING that the claims made here were all hype and clever marketing. Equate this eraser with broccoli - you may not love it, but it's really good for you. Pros: - Less mess. The strings are longer and easier to gather up. - You stand a much better chance of fully erasing. The others still show pencil lines. - These last a long time with heavy use. The B80 size is perfect for a grammar school age kid. - Less pressure needed to erase = less damage to the paper. Significantly less. This cannot be overstated. - Seems to "smudge" less than others used. - Kids seem to recognize their value and seem to want to take care of them - they actually keep them off the floor and away from the dog, who is always looking to snatch up a random pencil or eraser. - Work just as well for colored pencils too. Cons: - Maybe "slightly" more expensive than a standard eraser, but it seems to be in a very small degree. Considering the significant improvement over it's primary job - "erasing" - it actually is worth the extra dime/quarter per eraser. This item in the 3 pack is about $4 total - It's cheap enough to test out without feeling like you are destroying the school budget. You won't go backwards or reach for Papermate/Pentel brand again, no matter how many they sell in bulk. You just won't.
