good basic inserts for 3-ring binder
This is an excellent pack of weekly/monthly planner pages. The holes align perfectly into my Avery A5 3-ring binder. The paper is about the same thickness as my current planner, with plenty of space for each date. I like that it came with plastic protector sheets to keep your front and back page from getting scuffed up when you open and close your planner. Well worth the price point.

Should it have 1 more star or one less?
At least 3 stars, maybe 5 for the month and weekly layouts giving information at a glance. The scheduler is actually very good. However - I also ordered a leather portfolio with a 5x8 "legal" pad and got the one with a 6 ring binder expressly to hold my schedule. When I got the two of them together I found that the holes don't line up with the rings. The top or bottom 3 holes align with the portfolio. The other set of rings allows only two holes to line up and the corner of the page is where the last ring needs to close. In order for it to fit I had to trim off the corner and now have three rings at the top, two at the bottom with the corner trimmed about 3/8ths of an inch. If it is the fault of the portfolio, this planner deserves 5 stars. If it is the fault of the planner it deserves 3. It's probably my fault so, I settled on a compromise of 4 with a warning to others.

good calendar/organizer
This is the perfect calendar/organizer for a narrow binder. There is room on each day for a little bit of journaling. The front pocket makes it possible to insert art that can be changed with the seasons or holidays, which is just plain fun.

Works Well!
My husband uses this type of calendar on his desk year after year. We've purchased these refills for several years now and the value and quality for the money is worth it. It fits the 7-hole cover perfectly.
