This sturdy book has been so helpful at work. I am in engineering/construction and its important to keep the knowledge, especially when everyone else has forgotten it. I even find myself taking lessons.

So to jog my memory of those moments and to atleast understand it on my own time I search and end up with this one. 1. Content For me, it is informative with enough computation to follow and not that long, I believe for someone starting, it could be a way to atleast get a hang of it with a few things to take in mind. 2.Size Happy to see that it is small enough to just slip it inside your bag, comapact and slim, a quick way to bring out anytime but during the time I purchase it I thought it would be bigger but it is good. 3. Quality I believe you better not put it in a crowded bag or place because of the spring, it would be a bit hard to flip if it is bent, also this is not waterproof so better to use it in a dry environment. Colorful and text sre easy to read for youngsters but I believe it would also be hard for others. Well, I love it, just for jogging the memory and such.

Great reference tool for quick estimating.

This is a medium/small flip book of reference data. I found it too small and too brief, and thus I felt, inaccurate. I expected something with better descriptions and a broader scope. However, if you need something small and portable, this may fit the bill for you as a "quick reference guide" which is how it should have been advertised, I feel. Not what I was looking for and a little disappointing as I normally love all things DeWalt (my garage is full of DeWalt products). I returned it as I feel the description was inaccurate and it did not live up to the presentation or description. If it were cheaper I likely would have just kept it "just because" even though I found it lacking.
