Good seed germination rate
The seed had a good germination rate as you can see from the photos. Day 1 (seeding) was done on 8th of the month and good seed growth can be seen in the photo from the 18th day of the month. The amount of growth may have been better if it were not for a severe rainstorm with hail that dislodged many seeds. The seeds were brought to the surface and were floating about the yard on the 13th of the month.

It makes a thick beautiful lawn
I'm in southern California. I had let my zoysia lawn die due to the drought. Once it was officially over I had to replace it. Did was too expensive. Marathon is the popular choice but really isn't intended for our climate. To make marathon stay green you're watering daily. All of my neighbors have it. Two things about my lawn that has all the neighbors asking what it is, first is the color. It has a much brighter color than every other lawn, and the second is they never see me water it. Well that's just because I only water for 4 minutes every other night. It grows thick and beautiful. And once the seed was laid it took off quickly. My personal habit is to fertilize every other month. It really made a great lawn.

Worked for me!
After reading other reviews, I decided to give this a try. I live in the deep south of Alabama. My husband said I put it down wrong and it wouldn't grow. Maybe that's true.... but it grew!Very happy, highly recommended.

Grass between my toes again! 👍😊
This was my first time planting grass seed. Wasn't sure what to do? Just followed the easy to read instructions, and now I have grass around the pool!Liked it so much, that I ordered two more bags! This time, I will be planting in somewhat shaded areas, and will see if it does just as well? Also, went away on vacation and wondered how the young grass would fare under the intense Montana sunshine and dry weather? It got fuller and greener in our week away.Update: Grass is doing great! Holds up to our dry summers. I do water each day, and do an hour long deep soak once a week. The deep soak seems to be helping the roots dig into our hard soil. Money well spent! Grass seed is also doing well in our shady areas.

Don't waste your money.
Did not grow a single blade of grass. I had multiple areas of patchy ground. In full sun, will shade and partial sun/shade. Not a blade of grass has grown. Freaking waste of $30. Local thrift store had grass seeds but with Covid I opted to buy online to be safe same grass type, theirs grows like crazy this didn't grow one blade of grass.

Excellent product!
I've sown seed from Lowes almost every year for about 15 years, and very few of them have survived. I just thought that I had bad soil, or just not enough sun.But so far, it looks like ALL of the seeds from this bag have come up!I specifically chose this seed for my lawn that doesn't get a lot of sun, and stays wetter than I would like because of the lack of sun. First I aerated, then I ran sprinklers and water the lawn for 5 minutes every 4 hours, unless there has been rain. I couldn't be happier, it's coming up thick and is looking great!

It’s ok
I purchased this because it didn’t have all the chemicals on the seed. I really had to over seed and baby this seed to grow.I still have areas that the seed didn’t take. Now as we are in the middle of summer its not fairing good. I water in the morning and once the sun is at its coolest. Definitely does not like too much sun.
