I needed an enclosure to reuse an old mSATA drive when upgrading an old Intel NUC used as a server to a larger drive and the options for mSATA enclosures are pretty slim these days, but this seems solid so far! I haven't pushed it hard or anything crazy but it's been working fine for moving some large files between machines and speed tests are pretty much equal to how it measured internally. The included cable having a built in USB-C to USB-A adapter is super convenient for bouncing between modern and older machines as well without having to switch cables or keep track of small adapters. It's using a Realtek RTL9201 controller and has been recognized correctly on Windows and macOS, I haven't had a chance to try it on Linux yet but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It also supports SMART data!

Fits everything I've thrown at it. Works good, installation is easy. May get another have lots of loose drives that would fit in here.

I bought this to use an old Plextor mSATA 128GB SSD as a fast flash drive through USB. The included cable can connect to your computer or host using USB-C or USB (the cable has a built-in adapter). I connected to my computer using the USB C port and tested the read and write speeds using CrystalDiskMark. The results did not disappoint! 442 MB/s and 323 MB/s read and write speeds (sequential). Only unknown is how warm it might get with extended use and whether that affects the lifetime of the adapter or hard drive. The adapter housing felt warm to the touch after a few minutes of my test.

Did what it said. I used it for a super cheap 128gb Orico SSD to hook up via usb to a pi 5b. It worked no problems, 2 screws and included the screw driver (The used a hex head screw which was different). Solid little clear case. The only downside was getting the case open the first time. This thing latches strongly SHUT! I had to use a flat head on the very end where the usb port was to get it to pop up. I had to be very careful so I didn't scratch or crack the acrylic, but it did come open with a little tlc. I did take one star off because it was not as easy as it should be, but otherwise installing it was easy enough. It did come with a usb-a / c cord to connect it to either 1. Overall, this is really affordable enclosure, and did what I needed.
