Very good quality!
This is a very good quality heavy duty 36’ 6/6/6/8 50amp 240vac cord as advertised. Amazon was showing the shipping weight as 2 lbs which had me concerned and the shipper was also showing it as 2 lbs. but rest assured it is a full sized cord as advertised though and is very good quality. I believe it actually weighs between 28 to 36 lbs or so! So far all Epicord products I have bought (which has been several) have been very good quality.I will definitely continue buying this companies products.I have stretched this cord out and plugged the male plug into my shore power box (breaker turned off) to insure there would be no problems with the plug which even came with plastic caps over the prongs to protect them. I have slid the end without a plug on it into my cavity where my PDC is but am awaiting a new 50amp 240v Power Distribution Center and a new AC to DC voltage converter and a twistlock receptacle and female twistlock waterproof plug to arrive before I connect it up, but foresee no issues.I am replacing my old WFCO 30amp combo Power Distribution Center (PDC) and builtin AC to DC Converter with a WFCO WF-8950 NP PDC and a WFCO WF-9875 75amp AC to DC Converter to upgrade my camper to a 50amp 240v service which is actually 100 amps at 120v AC when you use each of the 2ea 120v 50amp hot legs in it to feed each side of the PDC’s branch circuits (1 hot 120v 50amp leg to the left side and the other hot 120v leg to feed the right side via either 2 separate single pole 120vac 50amp breakers or a dual pole breaker) providing a very large increase in available amperage and amount of branch circuits in the new PDC (6 dual pole breakers totaling 12 branch circuits) and a dedicated circuit to the new Converter in the camper. This cord should adequately handle the amperage without any overheating issues! It is rated for 240v 50amp and 36’ length and given the apparent quality should do the job very well.I have a separate waterproof twistlock female end and a twistlock receptacle to install in the exterior wall of my Fifthwheel Camper that have not arrived yet and also am awaiting arrival of the new PDC and Converter so will update this review after I have installed everything and have had it pulling the current load through the cord for a while!Sincerely,Ronald L. Make sure you order the correct receptacle
I have no complaints about this product. It's well constructed and appears very durable. The problem I had is with the male/ female connectors. This cord is an exact duplicate of the cord provided by the manufacturer, meaning the connector coming out of the RV is a "male" connector going into a "female" socket, hence the opposite side of the cord is a three pronged 30amp "male" connector. For this to act as a true extension cord, the connectors would have to be the exact opposite of the cord that came with the RV which I'm not sure is something you can find. My bad. I now have a "back up" power cord.

Good price worried about longevity
Great price but definitely can tell quality is lacking with the locking ring. Very flexible cord. I have only been using while camper is stored indoors.

very thick and heavy
we are using this for our back up power generator at work, feels very durable but can be hard to handle, should last many years. finger holes in the plug in are nice for plugging and unplugging

Nice cord, but...
Nice cord, but it would have been much nicer if it was black like I ordered...not fluorescent yellow. I'm using it anyway but man...it's ugly

Excellent Quality
I installed this cord on my tinyhouse trailer’s main breaker. This cord will allow my tinyhouse to plug into power outlets safely. The bright yellow is a plus so it is less likely someone will trip on the cord and the thick insulation is perfect for being exposed to the elements.I will be purchasing again for my next Tinyhouse build.
