A great snow shoveler! String & durable!!!
Fortunately I got to use these electric snow shoveler several times not many times but enough to say "it's a great shoveler well worth the purchase"!!! Why is it that when you buy one of these machines for an expected year of lots of snow..."there's never that much snow" No worries, it works like a charm👍 It's powerful, great battery life, awesome snow blowing capacity and not as loud as other snow shovelers. It's easy to use and doesn't weigh so much that you have to be a body builder😆haha Great purchase no regrets!

Great Electric Snow Shovel, Could be Improved
I was looking for something during the winter time to help me get rid of the snow on my driveway and my small business near the exits so people didn't track in snow. I came across this and decided to give it a shot. Assembling the unit was pretty easy. This unit can move a lot of snow surprisingly quickly! Providing it is NOT packed dense snow. Anything with ice tends to really bog down the unit and the unit can stop if overloaded. Easy solution is to do multiple passes, especially if over 8-12 inches of snow.Battery was able to take care of my 4 car driveway and a good area around my front and back entry way areas to my business on 1 charge. Granted this is the first full charge, so time will tell if the battery holds up long term.Having wheels on an electric snow shovel is a total must. I've seen a few more expensive electric shovels, and seems like just as much a chore to shove it manually because they have no wheels on it. This design really is unique and so happy it has wheels. However this brings me to a few issues I have with the machine. The unit, with the battery installed will not stand up on its own. It must be propped up against something or will need to be laid down. Without the battery the unit can free stand with the wheels installed. Also the safety mechanism is really annoying. You must hold down 1 button and a trigger at all times for the unit to function. This is not ideal. The button is poorly positioned, and ends up being a strain to hold the button in while pulling the trigger after long periods of use. This brings me to another issue, at least for me. I'm a 6ft 6 tall guy. This machines handle is not long enough to comfortably use this, even with the wheels. I'm constantly hunched over using this thing, and the handle cannot extend or retract. A feature I really wish this unit had.Using this over a traditional shovel is much quick, without a doubt. Though working with this electric shovel has to be used much differently and will need MUCH more room to operate it. If trying to shovel a tight space, or not very open space, you will get no where with this unit. Since the snow is shot up into the air in front of you, you need much more open space to use this efficiently. You can only shoot the snow in front of you or pretty much just in front of you. There is a way to adjust the angle of where the snow is shot out. Unfortunately its really only 30 degrees in any direction. You will not get 180 degrees shooting direction with this unit. Also gotta be weary of where the snow is being shot. Shooting snow in the direction of windows or vehicles in the drive way is a good way to break a window or damage the vehicle. Ice, rocks and other debris can and will be shot up through this unit as well. But that is more of a per use scenario.Outside of these issues, its a affordable alternative to the more expensive electric snow blowers or even some of the more expensive electric snow shovels. But some ergonomics designs make this unit somewhat of a hassle to operate, despite the amazing wheel design and is not adjustable in any way so if you are taller, it may be difficult to use.

It's great
Ordered this and didn't use till today when we got wet ice snow 2 in. Very heavy. And after plowed pushed snow end of driveway there was a big pile. I was absolutely amazed just how well this beauty worked. It ate threw that heavy wet snow throwing it very far. Now if I used my snow blower it would go up the shoot and barely spit it out. I felt guilty spending this much not knowing if it worked well and it did not disappoint. I have a 4 car driveway and 24x24 deck and it worked amazingly and it was fast and easy. The battery lasted with battery to spare.I read that some people found it hard to press in small button and hold down handle with gloves. Not true. The small button goes in easiely and holding down the handle part was perfect. My hand did not get fatigued using the handle at all while pressing down button. And I am not young.I have arthritis in hands and fingers and using it for over an hour hand not one little pain in hands. The wheels are there was perfect. Of course with wet ice heavy snow I had to push alittle harder but not much. It chewed up that snow and threw it out fast. Turning was no problem and the handle thst adjusts the direction of snow works fine. I've read it breaks but zi can see if you are hard on it and you don't gave to be it's great. Slow and pull up the knob and gently turn knob. If you yank it and twist it wontvwork and maybe break.pull out and then alittle further and turn to direction you want. That part never clogged. I take this over my snow blower anyday...unless there's more snow lol.Hope I still feel this way after alot of use

Does the job it promised
Thanks to global warming, e here in Boston have had warmer and shorter winters with a lot less snow than we used to have. But even as this winter has been very warm arond the globe, we have had a real winter this year in Boston, our first in about 10 years. My snowblower broke years ago and I never had it fixed because we rarely had enough snow to warrany the cause of repairing it. But this winter, after several snow storms, I decided to purchase this cordless snow shovel. We had five inches of heavy, wet snow the day after the shovel arrived. I am happy to report that the shovel worked as advertised, with the battery lasting much longer than I had anticipated. Some reviews reported that the shovel was not efficient in heavy, wet snow. But that was not my experience. That's been our only snowfall since I bought the shovel, so my experience with it is limited. I hope that continues the rest of this winter. :) I expect that the shovel will work even better with a light, powdery snow. Based on my experience in that one storm, I recommend this product.
