HENCKELS Take-Apart Kitchen Shears

I've bought cheaper shears and they were good until the plastic molding broke apart. I decided to pay a little more and hopefully find a pair that would last a little longer. I've only had this pair for a couple of weeks, but my first impressions are that this is a good set of shears. They are sharp and easy to take apart and clean. The handle is most important as I've got other shears, but the handle is too small, therefore I avoid using them. The handle on this set will fit an average to large male hand. I'll probably buy another set because shears have a habit of growing legs and walking off around this abode.

GREAT FOR THE KITCHEN!! I have three pair and these are easy to handle and cut everything (meat) nicely. The fact that they are take-apart and go in the dishwasher is perfect!

For clarity: The shears are 8" long. The product that is 10.25" is the shears in the plastic mold packaging. They are the same length as my 8" Wüsthof shears. That said, these are a great set of shears. Sharp, easy, agile. Do not be afraid to order a pair or two. They are a great way to avoid getting a cutting board dirty. Slices chicken ribs with ease, a great tool for deboning, and does all sorts of scissor things as well, like opening pan sausage tubes, cutting twine, snipping herbs, et al. My shears see more action than my knives in the kitchen, the star of the cutting block. The serrated edge is subtle but perfectly placed on the edge for a positive grip. Nothing to fuss at on the Henckels shears, a prime tool.

I bought this to replace my old Henckles scissors. Didn’t realize how dull the blades were until I received the new one. Lightweight, sharp and comes apart for cleaning.

Great kitchen shears that are the perfect size, cut well, and are comfortable to use. And they’re the classic Henkels quality and durability.

Work great. Good they come apart for cleaning. I put in dishwasher.
