A very impressive simple drone, my first. Best fun from a piece of tech that I've had in years. Batteries last about 8 minutes [ came with 2 and a twin charger] and I have since bought another spare. Well built, fits in a pocket when folded. Lots of instruction videos online. Great Value.

Great once you master the basics and can use manual mode. You can use the app on your mobile to view in real time tracking... I think its well worth getting for the price if you didn't want a more professional one costing a lot more

I bought this for using when mountain biking. It fits in my back pocket easily. I have used it in all the modes and it works very well tracking a subject. Flight time is good however, I do recommend that you buy at least one more battery to take with you. Dolly track takes some practice, don't expect it to work first time and beware of riding downhill using the dolly as it struggles to 'decend' and watch your speed as it maxes out at about 15mph. Overall i am very happy with this for the majority of shots I need. I'm now saving up for the pro.

Simple method of control. Not the best camera but they have improved that in later models. A fun little tool to use for simple videos.

So easy to get initial shots - and a certain amount of control over 'preset' parameters is possible. I have started t experiment with custom flights - I would prefer it if every shot was NOT a selfie! Also it is frustrating that it has a very slow charger - obviously it is very particular about which electrons it allows to enter the battery, but from minimum to maximum it takes over 3 hours - and, if using the trin charger, charges one battery first, then moves on to the second one!. Just so frustrating. If you're concerned about potentially damaging the HoverAir X1 in your pocket or if packing for a trip, you will be delighted to know it exactly fits a standard 3.5-inch drive case! - Problem solved for a few extra pounds. Overall - Do I like it? - YES. - Do I love it? - Not sure yet. - Can it get better? - I'm sure it can - and hopefully will be in the firmware updates soon! - Would I swap it fo a refund? - NO

Value for money, very safe for anyone to use, and very portable. Functional, the camera quality varies on different settings. It's ideal for a photographer who wants to photograph their solo travels. The battery life lasts at least 11 minutes, so I would recommend getting a second battery.

Love love love this gadget! So easy to use and lightweight. Pre-programmed functions makes it such a great drone, with various settings to suit. Picture quality was great, although I'm sure the later versions are much better. Bonus that I got it on prime saving £100!

Oh, what a lovely little drone this is. I recently took the Hover Air X1 with me on a bicycle tour across Florida (around 800 miles over 3 weeks). Super light weight, compact size makes it an ideal drone for bicycle touring. And the pre-programmed modes are awesome for someone like me who is new to drones and didn't want to climb the learning curve, so to speak. I frequently used "hover", "follow me", "dolly track", and other (pre-programmed) modes to capture content I wanted to share with friends, family, and other bicycle tour enthusiasts. And once I discovered I could also manually control flights using the Hover app, I was thrilled by what I could do with this drone. I also really loved the simple and easy to use "land" mode. I always enjoy just holding my hand under the drone and letting it land on my palm. How cool is that?! As per the specifications, this drone is not suited to situations with high wind or rain as some other (higher priced) drones can do, but for me that was a non-issue as I didn't want to capture content in those conditions. It also is not fast enough to keep pace with a bicycle at speed (e.g. > 10 mph) but, again, I was not expecting it to. What I did was ride slower when taking action shots so that the drone would be able to keep pace (follow me mode), or I would plan the shot to fit within the drone's capabilities (bird's eye mode, hover mode with a drive by, manual mode with the phone affixed via quad lock to the bicycle so I could operate the controls whilst riding). It is a very flexible drone with lots of potential for getting great shots. It is also very robust. The plastic cage surrounding the rotors ensures that crashes (yes, I had a couple) don't damage the rotors, the gimble + camera(s), or the main body of the drone. I also really liked having two batteries so I could fast swap while on the road. The battery life met my expectations but for those seeking longer flights this might not be the best option - I was getting 10-15 mins of flying time in temperatures ranging from 50's to 60's Fahrenheit, and also dependent on the wind conditions. Besides all that, it's just fun to use. Although not recommended by Hover, I often would fly the drone indoors to show-off its merits to people who were curious to see what the drone could do.

(Attention interdit dans les canyons 🇺🇸). 🦅🪶 On a utilisé l’option lors de nos balades sur Hollywood blv ou en Roller sur Santa Monica , trop chouette!! 🌴☀️ —> Très facile d’utilisation, petit se glisse dans un petit sac à main. 👏 RMQ: Parent solo, vous apprécierez prendre des instants magiques avec votre enfant autre qu’en selfie :)

Da quando ho messo le mani su questo mini drone l’ho portato praticamente ovunque: uscite in bici della domenica, corse al parco la mattina e persino brevi escursioni in collina. Al tatto è sorprendentemente leggero, entra nella tasca della maglia e sembra non pesare nulla quando lo infilo nello zaino. Il rombo dei suoi rotori è più discreto di quanto immaginassi; la gabbia protettiva in plastica dà immediatamente fiducia e, dopo un paio di piccoli urti, ho constatato che protegge davvero eliche e corpo principale. Le modalità preimpostate, follow me, hover e dolly track funzionano bene per chi non vuole affrontare una curva di apprendimento lunga; la voce elettronica conferma ogni selezione e l’app permette di intervenire sui parametri (altezza, distanza) lasciando le impostazioni in memoria. Con una batteria riesco a volare intorno ai 10-15 minuti, lo swapping delle batterie è immediato e torna utile quando si è fuori tutto il giorno. L’esperienza d’uso mi ha convinto: pratico, diverte. Un buon prodotto, se dovete fare un regolo sono soldi spesi benissimo.

This Hover Air X1 is seriously awesome! It's everything I wanted and more. Pros: - Portable (Folds right up and fits in the pocket) - Super lightweight - Flying it is super easy. (Even kids can fly) - Pre-programmed flight paths Cons: - Flying time of approx 10 minutes seems less. Having spare charged batteries could help, also just keep in mind, you don't waste any time setting it up. The moment it takes off, it is in action :) - Flying restrictions - cannot fly over water/glass surfaces (and also avoid valleys) - No obstacle avoidance - Make sure you select an appropriate flight path considering your surroundings. - Low-light performance is not so great. But in sufficient light, it is awesome. Flying this drone is surprisingly easy, even kids can operate it. The app is super user-friendly, and there are pre-programmed flight paths that make getting cool shots a breeze. There's even a follow-me mode, which is amazing for capturing those epic adventure videos. The camera quality is no joke either - the HDR really makes the colors pop, and the video stabilization is mind-blowing. Video quality is amazing too! Speaking of amazing, gotta give a shoutout to the seller! Super quick to respond and provides solutions promptly. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is outstanding, I'm impressed with their professionalism. I highly recommend the seller for exceptional service and support.
