Wilton Twist Quick Decorating Coupler, 4-Pieces

I find myself making more cupcakes now that I have a kid, and have also recently gotten into meringues. I wanted to up my game with decorating but didn't know where to start. This set had everything I needed to experiment, the gold is pretty but also seems sturdy. My son loves to use it, too! There are only 8 bags, which we ended up going through pretty quickly since we did some projects where we needed multiple frosting colors at a time, so already here shopping for more of those!

Purchased these for a Christmas gift for our son's girlfriend who wanted to start working on her decorating techniques with her baking. I was SO impressed with the way these attach to the bags & the tips with the coupling & leak guard. I was taught on the old Wilton canvas bags, metal tips, & screw ring. I could never master holding the huge mass, trying to squeeze & add icing at the same time. I finally gave up on decorating after taking a decorating class from a Wilton master & being told that my hands "were just not strong enough" to be able to do a steady line. Sob! Got to play with these with the gift recipient (who also has small, arthritic hands like I do) & what a dream! I actually decorated a cupcake with ease & my lines weren't clumpy at all & only a bit of squiggle in the writing.

Just be careful when you buy the tips… I bought some that I THOUGHT were standard size, but they were actually large 😭 Oh well! Now I’ll just have to buy some others. When I TRIED to use this product, the coupler attached easily to the bag. But… I can’t comment yet on how well the tips attach 🥲 ETA: Works great with the correct size of tips…

I don't normally bake and I have never piped anything before in my life. This coupler really saved me, mostly because I didn't know what I was doing at the time. The coupler makes it easy to take off the tip and clean it out. I didn't sift the sugar (like I was supposed to) when I made my buttercream icing and large clumps of hard sugar kept clogging the tip. With the coupler I could easily pop the tip off, unclog it, and reattach it so I could resume icing. Without it, I would have had to dump the entire bag of icing as there would have been no way for me to unclog the tip! I know better now, but it was still really useful at the time. It was also easy to try different tips out with this coupler. Large tips will not fit.

I was sold on the gold and blue color. It is a great set and had everything you need for a homemade cake. However, the included coupler is too small for the bigger tips included in the set so I had to hold the 1m tip while I pipe the flowers onto the cake. I wish they included a large coupler too. Otherwise, great set for a beginner like me.

El articulo es tal cual la descripción del vendedor, llego a tiempo en perfecto estado, de muy buena calidad, fácil de usar y me ha resultado muy útil, ya que es muy fácil el cambio de duya, para un mismo betún y en caso de que no se utilice en ese momento tiene un tapa para evitar que el betún se salga o se seque, lo recomiendo.

Ist ein super Teil! Habe lange nach einem vernünftigen Adapter gesucht und den hier endlich gefunden! Ist super verarbeitet, sehr stabil und für alle gängigen Spritzbeutel geeignet! Ist allerdings nur für die Kleinen Tüllen! Für die großen und die riesigen Tulpen-Tüllen ist es zu klein!

I found this to be a good quality product. When I am icing I usually want to change nozzles and so far have just used a separate bag and therefore wasted icing. With this its easy to change the nozzle and keep all the icing in one bag. I have a selection of nozzles, most of which are not Wilton, but the ones I have worked fine.
