Great quality - lives up to its reputation!
I love the watercolor journal paper. It accepts any medium I throw at it - watercolor, ink, acrylic paint pens and alcohol ink pens. The paper allows time to make watercolor corrections if you make a mistake - color is liftable. Paper is thick enough so nothing bleeds through and the notebook is so portable. I also love the pocket to carry reference photos and the template included. My favorite journal!

The sketchbook is AMAZING for watercolor, I have yet to find another sketchbook that can hold watercolor like this one can. The pages can't hold alcohol markers very well though, those will still bleed through. My only complaint about the sketchbook is the amount of pages. On here it says there are 72 pages, which I think is a little misleading. Forgive me if i'm being dumb, but I thought that meant 72 SEPERATE pages. I counted and there are actually 36 pages (It's only 72 if you're counting the front and back of each page.)

Best ever. Where have you been all my life?!
I’ve been searching for a sketchbook that would take paints and markers and not bleed through. This is so beautifully made and it’s the first sketchbook I’ve had (and I have tried so so many) that I can paint on the back of pages! I don’t leave many reviews and I feel moved to review this.

Best watercolor book ever!!!
This is by far the most fantastic watercolor book I have tried. I have tried A LOT! I have always just been disappointed with the water distribution and how my professional grade watercolors look. Dare I say that this book is comparable to Arches????? This is going to be my only watercolor journal that I purchase from now on.

Quality, Pricey, Moleskine, as Always
Totally worth it. Love the regular Moleskine quality. I use gouache so it's not too wet, but I haven't had any problems with soaking through. Expensive? Yes, but it is something you will likely have for years, if not ever, if you treat right.Plus, it helps keep paintings lightfast.
