Lifetime supply of striker flints
I use my acetylene plumbing torch very rarely nowadays. It's usually easier to grab a piezo-start MAPP torch for copper pipes, and a lot of stuff has switched over to PEX and uses compression fittings (no heat required). But if I'm working on a crusty old copper pipe and need to really blast it with heat, the plumber's torch comes out and so does the flint striker.I've lit the torch with a Bic lighter when a striker wasn't available, but it isn't the safest way to do it. A flint striker gets your hand farther away from the flame, which is a good thing when you crack the valve open a little too much and the torch ignites with a BANG! that makes your dog bolt for the door.The flints I had in my toolbox all turned to dust. I don't know if they corrode, rot, decide to take a trip to Paris or what, but when I opened the box of replacements, all I had was a fine gray powder and no usable flints. I guess it happens over time, and since I rarely use the striker, I hadn't noticed.I expected the quality of flints to have decreased over time because it seems like just about EVERYTHING has gotten cheaper and/or worse. Nope, these flints work just as well as the old ones I've used for 30+ years. I got strong sparks with each strike and they lit my acetylene torch with no trouble.This is one of those consumables that you don't even think about unless you run out and can't find any. For $10 I bought a lifetime supply (assuming they don't turn to dust, of course) and won't have to worry for a long time, if ever.

Great product and great price! Work beautifully!
They fit all of the strikers for my gas welding and propane torches. Replaced half a dozen in 15 minutes and they all work beautifully!I should have replaced them a long time ago.

It works well on my sparker to light my propane torch. And lots of backup sparkers is always a plus

These flints fit my (other) ancient & venerable inherited striker. They arrived promptly, fit my tool, & work to start fire. Quantity may last the rest of my life.

Great value, fast shipping
As a chemistry teacher, I REALLY appreciate the value for money and the speed of shipping of these flints. They fit my old set of sparkers and make them so, well, sparky! I am a lot less grumpy when my students play with the sparkers (let's be real, they're a great toy) knowing I have a pocketful of replacements.
