Perfect for my calligraphy
This is exactly what I was looking for! Finally a small, inexpensive t-square that is useable and convenient. I had one like this (different brand) that I used for years, but I broke it. When I tried to find another one, I learned that the brand no longer existed. I ordered several “lookalikes” on Amazon, but thy were not useable because the “lip” was so shallow, it would not stay aligned, also the “ruler tongue” was usually bent which made the t-square behave like a see-saw… can you imagine trying to draw lines with all that going on. But then this one arrived…perrrfect. I can hook the lip directly on the side of an envelope or heavy calligraphy paper and draw nice square parallel lines in a jiffy. I ordered 2 more as spares because I don’t want to do without this tool ever again. Get THIS one, not a cheaper variant that looks like this…I assure you, they are not the same. Westcott brand. Such a simple inexpensive tool, but it’s worth its weight in gold.

Thin but very helpful tool
Works well. Plastic is thin so it needs a little extra care.

Does what I want it to do!
This T-square is a little flimsy, not terribly so, but it's thin plastic. If you want something sturdy, find an acrylic one or maybe even wood. Having said that, my use for the t-square is to line up elements on cards and sentiment stamps. Both of which this will do without a problem. I'm not going to use it to cut straight lines in chipboard or anything like that so it doesn't need to be sturdy for me!

Good for the price
I use this for crafts and I need it to be clear to see underneath the ruler at times. The price is very reasonable. The quality is ok. Obviously, not the highest quality you can get. It is slightly bent up in a curve (very slightly) because the type of plastic is what you'd expect. I'm careful with my tools, so it hasn't snapped on me yet. Regardless of the type of plastic used, it was well worth the money. The size is perfect for my needs. Highly recommended!

Best basic staple in line drawing
This was the best investment for someone like me who can't draw a straight line. I definitely would recommend this as a basic staple.

Okay for something so inexpensive
My main dislike of this is that the aligning edge is a little too thin to stay aligned/caught for applications beyond basic drawing. Wish everything was a bit thicker so it'd both flex less, and catch the edge more easily and with less risk of jumping. The space without an alignment edge under the "T" intersection, while traditional, is annoying because of the tendency for the plastic to rotate or flex when only the top or bottom edge is engaged. Honestly, it's probably great for applications where you don't want to clamp in place or have much pressure on any of the edges. (Like sketching/drawing.) But you want to use with clamps, wood, or metal it's just not sturdy and deep enough.

A great product.
Works perfectly as I'm laying out light vertical pencil guide lines for reflections in water in my acrylic paintings
