Great for making AP tests.
Excellent book. The questions aren’t available online, just takes time to type them up for tests but nice that they’re questions students haven’t seen before. Good FRQ questions and multiple choice are similar to the AP Test with a lot of data analysis and reading.

outdated. contains grid in questions which are not on the current exam and is very confusing to sort through and find your topic or unit.

600 questions (but no content review)
My sophomore daughter will be taking AP Bio next year (junior year). She took AP Physics as a freshman (got a 5!) and this year she'll take the Chemistry SAT Subject test since she's not in AP. Barron's test prep books tend to be top notch. This one (AP Q&A Biology) is no exception. This is a small and relatively inexpensive book with 600 questions (and answers). Just be aware that doesn't provide any content review. The book does cover test taking strategies. The questions themselves are organized into four chapters: Evolution, Energy, Information and Interactions.

Buy for the practice tests!
My 15 year old loved this book, it had plenty of practice questions, and would definitely help any AP student, or any student who needs a little help in biology. It wasn't too thorough on the explanations, but that lack of thoroughness didn't matter too much, as a quick Google search would answer those questions. I would suggest this book to any students taking biology.

Great for Short Study Times
My daughter is currently taking AP Biology. I ordered a year long guide book for her, but with only a couple of months left in the class, she's barely even cracked it open. This however, she has been devouring! It's great for when you have short periods of time to study. It's basically full of just possible AP Bio test questions. She has been taking this to school with her and going through it when's she finished with her work. She loves it so much, she's been recommending it to her classmates. It's helping her to pinpoint her weaknesses as well as her strengths. She's a senior this year, so she won't be taking AP classes next year. I wish I had discovered this series of test prep books earlier!
