Nice Bright Paint
The paint, though watery, does the job. I pained some fine metal parts and I was using a toothpick. I mixed the paint up well and, as I read in another review, it still appeared to be thin. I applied the paint and had no problem with its adhesion. Two coats on the surface of the metal worked well. The paint is a bright fluorescent orange and is highly visible in light. The watery thin viscosity allows you to apply it to very small items. I would recommend this item for painting small parts. I would also purchase again if needed.

Good and bright
I liked the color but it seemed to take multiple coats to make it look perfect.

Bright color, flat finish
The paint dries a bright "hunter jacket" orange. However, it is flat and not glossy. This may work better for gun sights. It may be designed to be put over a white base coat. I didnt see any instructions online, but this was recommended with other gun site paints I have purchased. As others have mentioned, it is very thin and does not have the consistency of typical Testor's model paint. It may be mixed for an airbrush. I haven't tried this, but you may consider putting a small amount on a non-absorbent surface and letting some of the solvent evaporate before using it. You will need a very soft brush otherwise you will remove the first coat when applying a second coat. I would highly recommend mixing it thoroughly (toothpick) after shaking it. I am not sure how quickly the pigment may settle out, so remixing may be necessary.

Great for gun sights
I use this for my front sights. It will take several thin coats to get a decently visible result but it works pretty good. Stands up to recoil really well I haven't had it flake off yet and I've ran over 300 rounds through the pistols I have it on.

Works Well for Basic Front Site Coloring
This paint arrived quickly and well packaged(via USPS). I applied this paint to the front sites of a S&W 638 snub nosed revolver and a 1911 full size. I stirred the paint up well and applied 2 coats with an hour wait time in between coats. I had a fan blowing on the sites to speed up the drying. As a former Marine and lifelong firearm owner and shooter, this site paint is bright enough for my 63 year old eyes. It feels great being able to see the front sites on both firearms easier. There is a lot of paint in the bottle and that's great because it will allow for future touch ups if necessary. All in all I'm very happy with the color and the ease of use...:) I highly recommend this product.

It didn't work well for me on a front iron sight
I used it on an old Ruger P89 where the original white dot on the front sight had worn off. I cleaned all oil and dirt from the dot on the sight, shook and stirred the bottle very well. The first coat went on very thinly. I ended up applying three coats by dipping the tip of a pin in the paint and allowing it to flow off the pin and fill the dot. The result is just ok. It's got good coverage (after three coats) and seems to have keyed well to the metal but its a medium orange color. Does not have the bright, almost iridescent coloring that I have seen achieved with other sight paints.

THIN. DILUTED. BARELY ANY PIGMENT.
I bought this to renew the orange color on a gauge needle. The original paint was faded but not very much. Even over faded paint of the same color this stuff does barely anything. Spread some on paper and it looks like you put a drop of food coloring in water and used that. It's only usable if you let half the thinner evaporate on your brush before using it. After doing that, the color is actually decent, but you're basically getting half the advertised volume. These guys have gotta just let the customer dilute the stuff if they want it that watery. It's easier to add thinner than remove it.
