Wanted something to store charcoal, smoker pellets, and other items so settled on this due to its size and reasonable cost. It was boxed securely and tightly. The assembly instructions were probably the best I've seen in a long time, and assembly was easy and straight forward. The only issue, at least for me, was, when installing the last side panel, you have to lean over the box to reach the bottom to put in 5 screws. Of course I could have placed the box on its side but the instructions advised against doing that. Leaning over the side was a bit cumbersome for a short, girthy man, but all-in-all assembly was a breeze and only took about 30 minutes doing it myself. This box seems to be very sturdy with parts that fit together well. Instead of simply snapping parts together there a lot of screws used in assembly, making it much more tight and sturdy. It hasn't rained since I put it together but I really don't see where it could leak. Leakage would be a killer if using it for charcoal and smoker pellets like I am, so if it leaks I will update the review. Buying this box is a no-brainer if looking for one at a reasonable price that is easy to assemble, is sturdy and tight, can be locked, has great storage capacity, and looks great.

I’ve been using the Keter Denali 200 Gallon Deck Box for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid purchase. First off, the size is exactly what I needed. It easily holds all our pool floats and a few extra odds and ends with room to spare. The box looks sharp on the pool deck and blends in nicely with my outdoor furniture. Assembly was very straightforward. I put it together by myself in under an hour with just a screwdriver. The panels are sturdy and well designed, and everything clicked into place without frustration. One thing I really appreciate is how heavy duty this box feels. The resin material is thick and strong, and it doesn’t flex or warp like cheaper storage boxes I’ve owned in the past. The lid opens smoothly with the built-in pistons and closes securely. It’s also waterproof. I’ve had a couple heavy rains, and everything inside stayed completely dry. Since I’m using it to store pool floats that sometimes go in damp, I decided to drill a few small holes in the bottom for drainage. That’s a personal modification and not necessary for everyone, but it works well for my use case and hasn’t affected the integrity of the box at all. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s functional, and looks good doing its job. Highly recommend it if you need serious outdoor storage that can handle the elements.

NOT made in China like all the other brands a HUGE plus and just hoping the deck lid does not warp in the sun as other brands do. Packed very well and NO damage!. Not so fun part is the assembly with a lot of screws so make sure you have a power driver or drill set on low torque. ASSEMBLY TIP: The directions has you inside the box to install several screws at the bottom to the side panel. There is little room for even a moderate size person inside to do this and very dark! Leaning over the tall side as directed requires a 6' 5" skinny person. LAY the box on its side for the last set of screws! The side of box is now flat on the floor and eye level as you attach the final bottom screws on your hands and knees! Trust me on this. Hinges are of high quality and the lid is much more solid than all other boxes I have had. The exterior appearance is that of real wood. A divider inside would be nice to have. It is more time consuming to assemble than any other brand but it seems a lot more sturdy as well. Make sure ALL four sides are level and snugged to the bottom before putting in the screws. Inside I placed a couple of motion sensing LED battery powered lights via sticky velcro on each end panel. At night when the lid is opened the lights come on to help you see what your looking for!

Sturdy and easy to put together

We ordered this as a Mother’s Day gift for our Mom. Her use for it will be for outside cushions. The first delivery, I was surprised at how thin the box was that was sitting on the front porch. As I got closer, I realized someone messed up the picking because it was a mirror. Fast forward, amazon straightened it out on their end and the next day I received the correct item! The box was a lot bigger! Thank god! As for the product. It’s great quality. Each piece is built strong. The building part of it wasn’t bad at all. I did it by myself with no help. I’m pretty handy but I think someone who is not as handy could still manage putting it together. Just follow each step and take your time. I was a little iffy at the leveling part on the directions because it was a hair off. I figured, let me put on the top piece and see how the level was. PERFECT! The product is great. Build was easy. Overall size of the unit is great! Definitely worth the buy and already thinking of buying other items they have that match (like the smaller storage box, for a pool vacuum). Update: she loved it so much, she ordered two more 😂
