Jelly Roll Dreams: 12 New Designs For Jelly Roll Quilts

I admit I ordered this book for just 1 of the patterns, the pinwheel paradise quilt to make for my daughters first big girl bed. I'm not super experienced but have made a few quilts and this book seems really easy to follow. I love that the quilts included call for just 1 jelly roll for the designs (in case you bought just 1 on sale or on a whim). I have a couple that I had no idea what I was going to do with but really liked them, this book has got me covered! And it lets you know up front what additional fabrics you will need and how much of each you will need. This book will be keeping me busy with the wonderful designs!

I have looked at this book several times this week trying to decide which quilt design to make with one of my jelly rolls! I can't decide because there are several I like...so I will just have to buy more jelly rolls before I decide! LOL! This really has several lovely designs from which to choose for making Jelly Roll Quilts!

I breezed though this book and marked several patterns I'd like to try. I haven't yet tried anything, but the directions, illustrations and patterns are clear. I am looking forward to trying to make a quilt from this book soon.

Sometimes in my quilting I need a motivation. I walked into a quilt shop and there was a quilt that I knew I had to make. I found the book on Amazon with the pattern I needed and the rest is history. I have other books by this author and have been pleased with their patterns.

Making quilts from jelly rolls is fun. You don't have to make any intricate designs, but you can come up with some pretty interesting patterns as shown in this book. There are several I would like to make - and will when I have more time! This is another very interesting and helpful book which I purchased from Amazon.

I enjoyed reading this book and will definitely make at least 3 of the designs. It is the third book I own on this particular type of patchwork and I suppose that I was hoping for more variety. That it why I haven't given it 5 stars.

I used a Jelly Roll for my first quilt and was so pleased with it that I just had to have more. So with this book I can get inspiration and ideas for more jelly roll patching.

It contains some lovely patterns which I can't wait to try. A really worthwhile buy, would recommend it to other buyers

Great book for ideas of patterns. Well represented although some of the photography was more 'arty' than necessary and would have preferred better shots of the whole quilts.
