Good value for your buck.
As far as overall construction and durability this product really hits it out of the park. I have seen other products similar to this one that have several different issues with them like the foam liners not being set in properly and having a lot of play... or the outside casing being too flimsy and having a lot of flex to them. This particular product seems to be durable enough to be able to throw it inside the back of your vehicle with confidence and lightweight enough that you're not going to have a problem picking it up and moving it around. I was able to my 6ft 6inch rod inside this case with ease with my Penn Battle series 3000 still attached to the handle. Also as a bonus I was able to fit in my portable full size tackle bag inside the middle of the compartments. That's what is really nice about this particular product is that the inside foam liners can be adjusted to fit your needs they are not stationary. Overall I am pleasantly surprised with product ... Honestly whenever you order something online you kind of expect for something not to be exactly how you would like it or you would have to work with the product that you got to fit your needs, but not with this particular product. I can honestly say that it met my expectations and exceeded them. I will say this ....I think that this case would comfortably fit 4 rods. For my needs as of right now I only needed to store and transport two rods so that was all I was looking to fit in this casing. I hope this review helps you guys out if you're on the fence about it I would say that for your money this is a pretty good product.

Such quality! Very thought out.
I can't say how much I love this box! It's amazing! I can fit my rod and reel in, as well as my 2 kids poles, and it even holds all my tackle boxes and bait! The foam that holds the reels is not glued in, so I was able to move it around to fit my tackle boxes in between. On the other hand, the inside of the lid is lined with foam, so my rods are protected from both sides. It's a hard shell, so no bumps or bruises to anything inside. The latches are heavy duty, so there is no chance it will open or spill during transport. It is heavy with all my tackle in it, but sturdy enough that I don't worry about it breaking from the weight. It also has 2 places to put locks, in case you need to check it as baggage on a trip and want to lock your box. What a great product!

Great alternative to the Eagle Claw version, for less
First things first, I'm using this rod case for ice fishing, and this review reflects that. I realize this case is not designed for ice fishing rods... but it works great.I had my eye on the Eagle Claw ice fishing rod case, and found this one to be similar. The outside case itself and the latches are the same, other than color. The Eagle Claw version has foam inserts which alternate large/small openings, which does work a little better for ice rods, but this case has the lid foam, which keeps everything in place very nicely. They both have lots of extra room for storing pliers, jig boxes, towels, gloves, or whatever. 3500 size tackle trays fit nicely upright in the case. With my set up, I was able to eliminate a bucket and tackle bag, but most importantly, I no longer have to deal with tangles or worry about broken rod tips. The case is pretty large, it does take up a lot of space in my sled and flipover, take note of the measurements. All in all I'm happy with the case. I've had it out in snow/sleet, cold conditions, and it worked great. I only pack in 4 rods as you can see in the review pic, and have no problem working out space. I do have to sometimes rotate the handle on some of my rods so they so they fit better, but haven't had any trouble packing up out on the ice. Any more rods and it might be a little tougher getting everything to fit right, but still do-able.

Great for airline travel
I packed 4 rods along with most of my other fishing supplies for a flight. It was very durable and I liked the ability to put a lock on it. On the way back part of it seemed to have opened a small amount as a small amount of one of the rods was sticking out. But overall I would use it again for travel

Perfect!
This fits perfect across the back seats. This is a thinner material. It made to organize and carry rods and reals! Not made to be ran over by a car or jumped on. But it does protect you poles!

Very Nice
Very nice case. A little more than some but it closes nice, latches are plastic but seem to be study enough to withstand the cold. Nice foam with adjustable slots. Plenty of room for small tackle boxes. Should last a lifetime!

Length
I definitely should have looked at the length before buying. They are definitely a good deal but they are only going to fit rods that are travel rods or smaller trout rods and such. I don’t have any bass rods but most of those being one piece are not going to fit at all. But they are solid, can hold several rods and reels. The latches are kinda too tight, they look nice but that doesn’t make them any longer. So just make sure you measure your rods and check the dimensions of the cases I’m keeping the ones I bought just because they were a brand name at $50 each. If you have several rods that will fit then don’t hesitate.
