Himalayan Glow Salt Lamp with Touch Dimmer Switch 5-7 lbs

I recently bought the Himalayan Glow Salt Lamp with Touch Dimmer Switch (5-7 lbs) and it has been an amazing addition to my home! The lamp gives off a soothing, warm glow that's perfect for relaxing evenings or creating a calming atmosphere. The touch dimmer switch is super convenient, allowing me to adjust the brightness to fit any mood. The quality of the lamp is impressive, and it looks beautiful wherever I place it. This would make a fantastic gift for anyone looking to add a touch of tranquility and style to their space. Highly recommended!

The first time I encountered a salt lamp was in a local day spa that features therapeutic massages. The warm, glowing product captured my interest and curiosity. That particular salt lamp at the spa was big, though,--a sphere kind of like something from a Harry Potter movie--LOL! The salt sphere was costing over $100, so it was beyond my budget at the time. My curiosity led to me Amazon to see if I could find a smaller, more affordable one. To my joy, I found that Amazon had various opportunities for a product like this, but to my worry, there seemed to be some negativity / problems about certain groups of products. I read all the mixed reviews from various products, including the horror stories where people had received defective, damaged lamps and beat up boxes. After landing on this product's page and mulling it over for a day or two, I decided to try the product...for better or worse. I clicked checkout, and I didn't set my expectations too high. So, the day came, and the product arrived in a nice, clean sturdy outer box with plastic air bags as internal cushions. The product was heavy, but its personal box inside the shipping box was in pristine condition---no bangs, dents, scraps, etc. My heart lifted! So, I carefully opened that outer box and encountered a white innerbox, then at last, the product in carefully arranged, secure bubble wrap. It was quite obviously new---not some display product that had been in someone's shop and stuffed in a box at the last minute for shipping. I did NOT see any broken pieces, shards, dust, or broken bulb! (The bulb was included; some reviewers had stated they had received the product with no bulb.) Also, one of the best things for me: no upfront assembly was required! :) Once the lamp was free from packing materials, it was ready to go! I flipped the generous-sized switch and received the beauty, magic, and joy a salt lamp promised to offer. In my experience with this WBM International product, everything was in perfect order--better than expected actually, and the product even came with a helpful little user manual that discusses the following: 1) Product Features; 2) Benefits; 3) Locations for Usage; 4) FAQ section; 5) Safety Instructions & Handling; 6) Operating Instructions and maintenance; 7) How to Change Bulb when needed / what type of replacement bulb to use; and 8) company contact information. I suggest that everyone read this information thoroughly before using the lamp! One of the FAQ questions caught my eye, and I thought it was interesting information to pass along to potential buyers: "What size should an Ionic Salt Lamp be to give the best results?" The answer was given with some examples in a little grid, but here, I will give you some of the information as text. Quoted from User Manual: "A rough rule of thumb is 1 pound for every 10 square feet." / For optimal results in large rooms, several lamps should be strategically placed throughout the room." Examples:Room: Office Cubicle; lamp size needed, 4-8lbs. Room Size: 10' x 20'; lamp size needed, 16-23lbs ** **You should be aware, though, that some people believe such products' health benefits to be an outright hoax / scam from specified source, and googling salt lamp scams can be very interesting reading for those that like to delve into more research and debates, You get to see people that swear by them and people who believe its all bunk--with everything in between. It can be really difficult to decide who to believe and why! LOL :) Health Happy product or Hoax--it's still an interesting, unusual lamp to me. The whole product is really earthy and natural looking, and if someone didn't like earthy and natural, he / she may not like this product. People who like smooth, "elegant" products and no jagged edges may not like this product. I, however, was pleased with the unique, somewhat egg shape of my lamp. I find its peaks and valleys to be most distinctive and interesting. From my view, the light's color is rather like a happy, warm orange that rather glows like embers in the fireplace. I cannot speak to its actual ionic health properties and / or as scam folks would say, the "lack there of." I believe that determination comes with more use and time and what people wish to research and believe or disbelieve as the case may be. However, in my home, this strange lamp comforts through its glow and appearance. It inspires creativity, conversation, and humor--really, its hard to be so miserable and serious around a lamp made of a large lump of salt! LOL I feel most blessed to have received a quality, intact product, and it is my wish that others receive the same quality and satisfaction with the Salt Lamp as I have. My advise is to read product reviews and informational articles first before you buy---especially with certain manufacturers as well as certain types of electrical chords / bases. Be safety concerned for you and yours as apparently there are a lot of inferior products in this category from certain providers / sellers! Be sure to look at SELLER reviews / ratings also. [I suspect the seller / manufacturers makes a notable difference between receiving quality and a box of junk --scams, crams, and otherwise.] A visit to the WBM International website can give you specific product details as it relates to uses for their products like the one on this page, its benefits, and even its alleged healing. Sometimes, with healing and comfort, attitude and belief are everything! If you believe something is positive in your life and helpful, then maybe in many cases that something is! :) Everyone's experiences are different. This is a lamp to rest or relax by, not to read by. As with any electrical product, exercise caution AND good sense, especially when changing the bulb or working with the cord. I personally would be mindful about putting this around small children or pets who might grab or bump it--potentially hurting themselves or the lamp. One of the panels confirms the UL listing. // I purchased the "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" option, and my salt lamp is from WBM. [There seems to be at least one competing product from Ancient Secrets and Tiger Dive!] Again read choices and reviews carefully!

I bought this Himalayan salt lamp to fix a dark, awkward corner in my living room that sits in front of yellow curtains. Every other light I tried there looked harsh or just wrong, but without any light it felt like a cave. This lamp ended up being exactly what I needed. The warm glow works really well with the yellow curtains and adds soft ambient light without overpowering the space. It instantly made the area feel cozier and more intentional. The salt crystal looks natural and substantial, the base feels sturdy, and I love having a dimmer so I can adjust the brightness. I didn’t buy this for any health claims—just for lighting and decor—and it totally delivered on that front. If you need gentle ambient light for a hard-to-light area, this is a great option.

I've heard a lot about salt therapy recently and wanted to try these salt lamp air purifiers. I purchased 2 of the 6-7 lb. lamps. They really are unique and beautiful. I was very pleased with the quality. The lamp assembly is very basic there is the Himalayan Salt block itself (with a hole bore in the bottom for the light). The round wooden base is securely attached to the salt rock with 2 screws. The Light assembly then goes into a hole on the bottom of the wooden base and contains a standard 15 watt light bulb, This assembly has 4 rounded feet that allow it to sit level on flat surfaces. Attached to the light assembly is the power cord with dimmer switch. Using the lamp: I started using one of my lamps as soon as I received them and the other a couple days later. I decided to use one at home and one in my office and at this point I may order a second set for my home as well. When I first opened the lamp I found it to be wrapped in thick paper and the paper was damp. After some reading I found this to be normal. The salt does some "weeping" in transit and this is normal. According to the directions the lamp should burn for a constant 24 hours to dry out all the dampness once you receive it. I love the fact that it has a dimmer switch and I can turn it down low at night and up higher during the day time. After just a few hours I noticed the lamp had dried out and after a few days of use it has started to form more white areas on the outside which I assume is normal. I like the way it changes color as it's used and continues to dry out. Do they work?..... What exactly is this lamp suppose to do besides look pretty you may ask. According to the packaging himalayan salt lamps are scientifically proven to act like air purifiers. When lit, they emit negative ions that fight against positively charged particles that cause us to feel stuffy and sluggish. Those positively charged particles which cause colds, allergies etc. are then drawn to the floor or the bottom of the living space instead of the breathable space, is what I understand. In my experience the one I was using in our house when on helps keep the pet odor we have from our really old dog down. I hardly smell her at all as long as I have this lamp plugged up in the room she's in. Also, the lamp I decided to put at my office I left there over a 3 day weekend. I left it on medium brightness all weekend in an undisturbed environment. When I returned to work on Monday and opened my door there was a noticeable cleanness to the air. I can't describe it other than the air seemed sterile. Not a chemical clean or with smelly air fresheners but just clean and fresh. While they are simply a basic lamp made from a salt rock and yes it is a salt rock I had to lick it to make sure. Yes, you read that right I did lick the lamp to taste and make sure it was salt. The both lamps I ordered are pink and when lit they emit a beautiful amber glow. They would look great on accent tables or separated like I am using them. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase and I feel like the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will probably be purchasing more. They are hand carved and made in Pakistan. I paid full price for these lamps and this review is based on my use of them.

My Lamp came with a 25w 120v bulb it worked well and it worked well but I got a 120v 15w bulb for it for replacement,it doesn't work.Im gonna keep trying to find a new bulb that works.Clearly 15w bulbs don't work maybe my base is different Idk.It says 125v 75w on the bulb holder with the cord.its nice and warm to which I like I feel the warmth.

Love love love this product! Creates a lovely warm ambience and with the dimmer switch, i leave it on low overnight on the bedside table and i have never slept so well! Definitely reccomend!

Much better quality than I expected! My girlfriend asked for a Himalayan Salt Lamp for Christmas and she loves it much more than I thought she would and so do I! - Built in dimmer switch: On the the cord, it's not perfect, you do have to fiddle with it a bit to get the dimming kicking in. - Warming glow: if you like warm colours in your rooms, it does give off a beautiful glow from a very deep orange-red on low light and a brighter yellow-orange on high light. - Quality stand: We were at the Toronto Royal Ontario Museum the other day and the gift shop had a deal for Himalayan Salt Lamps with any other purchase and not only was this unit on Amazon around the same price on sale, but the quality of the laminate wood stand was waaaay better than the ones from the Museum which was impressive. Overall: This lamp was of a way better quality than I expected and even more so than the ones from the biggest museum in Canada. If you're looking for brightness, this is not your lamp. If you want some warm coloured accent lights, it's absolutely beautiful.

Me ha encantado, me la pensé en comprar pero hasta pediré mas. Proporciona una luz muy calida y el dimmer es bueno. Algunas son costosas pero esta me parecio en excelente precio. La base es de madera y se puede remplazar el foco facil.
