(Executive (15cm x 22cm)) - Rocketbook Everlast Smart Notebook

This is a really nice product, and so far it has worked very well for me. I use OneNote for project-related notes, but prefer to write notes during meetings and for to-do lists, etc. In the past I've switched between keeping an actual notebook and just writing on blank paper on a clipboard, and I'd occasionally photogrpah my important notes, crop the photos, and insert them in my OneNote pages. The problem with this system was that taking photos, cropping, saving, uploading to my cloud, then importing them to OneNote was really time consuming, and on top of that I was ending up with either full notebooks or stacks of hand-written pages that I no longer need. The Rocketbook is an ideal compromise. Just the right size for meeting notes and other similar things, pages are easy to write on, and the app is great - just point the camera, click through a few things, and my notes are already in OneNote. The OCR is surprisingly good for basic text (especially considering how bad my handwriting is); only problem is it doesn't automatically format bullets, extended sentences, and similar. Pages clean up very easily; I even accidentally used a regular pen on one, but it didn't take long to clean it up with a bit of isopropyl. I don't regret buying it. I also bought the carrying case for it; I'll review that in another post.

Love this piece of technology. It actually ensures all my notes are saved on Clouds like iCloud and One Drive. It is extremely helpful in retaining notes that you may need at a later instance. Only the wiping part is a bit of a work, but hey, this is available at 3,000INR and an eink tablet like the Remarkable costs 40,000+ INR. What more could you ask for?

Salve amici, ben ritrovati sul mio can... Ah ma non è un video? Scusate. Sono sempre preso a fare recensioni video e... diamine di questo ROCKETBOOK EVR-E-R non ho ancora fatto un video? Mi devo sbrigare (psss: seguitemi su youtube). Comunque eccoci ancora qua a recensire... Allora... Un giorno a gennaio, inizio gennaio ero li a guardare un vecchio plico di quaderni in studio che dovevo portare in discarica e penso "Ma se ci fosse un quaderno che non finisce mai? Dove scrivo appunti per i miei primi video, cose, ricette ed altro che poi cancello e ne scrivo altri?" Allora apro il Mac e inizio a guardare su internet (youtube e google, che poi dai è la stessa cosa!!!) e mi spesso vedo questo libretto con un logo molto carino. Ma penso subito "Si sarà la solita cavolata"... però gli do fiducia. Vedo due tre video anglosassoni e... dio questo lo DEVO assolutamente comprare. Striscio virtualmente la visa e il 21 gennaio mi arriva. Avevo capito dalle recensioni dei mangia hamburger che si poteva lavare ad acqua e credetemi se vi dico che ho passato la prima ora a scrivere e a cancellare con il panno in microfibra (in confezione)! Mia madre, la mia ragazza e i vari colleghi quando lo vedevano non ci credevano! Descrizione al volo e imprinting: ho preso la versione intermedia (A5), formato veramente comodo per tracolle non di grandi dimensioni. Penna della linea linea Pilot FriXion (un po' care quando ve ne andate a rifornire ma sti cavoli). Panno in microfibra. E la voglia di scrivere, cancellare, scrivere, cancellare. Per l'eternità! Come mai avviene questa magia? Per via della carta plastificata di cui le pagine sono composte. Ma oltre a questo, abbiamo in mano un prodotto SMART seppur non avendo direttamente un circuito o un microchip. APP, APP, APP. Siamo circondati da app anche per lavarci i denti, e questo book non se la fa mancare. La trovate su App Store (mio caso) e su playstore. Scaricate e vi trovate con delle cartelle con un simbolo accanto... Eh si, sono gli stessi simboli che trovate pure sul book. Basta scrivere su una pagina; barrate il simbolo che volete; sull'app decidete a che cartella o drive deve andare il vostro documento; con la funzione scanner integrata all'app scannerizzate la/le pagina/e e queste verranno inviate al drive corrispondente. Con una precisione e dettaglio che per ora non ho mai visto (solo su Hp Smart). E sapete perché? Se guardate nelle immagini del rivenditore, noterete che ogni pagina ha un bordino nero di 2/3 mm: questo facilita la fotocamera (e di conseguenza l'app) a rilevare in maniera ottimale i quattro angoli del foglio. Presto arriverà, come detto, anche un video a riguardo. Detto ciò, questo è veramente un ottimo progetto, un eccellente oggetto che si dovrebbe acquistare dalla prima elementare (ne gioverebbe sicuramente l'ambiente per un inferior numero di foreste disboscate) fino a... sempre! PRO: Tutto. Dal prezzo, ai materiali, fino alla user experience. CONTRO: Quella penna che molti utenti/recensori dicono di stare per perdere. Effettivamente pure io! Perché è dentro la confezione lasciata al suo destino di rimanere in fondo la scatola. ROCKETBOOK, perché non la "pinzi" direttamente al quaderno e impacchetti il tutto?

Das Rocketbook ist mir als geniale Erfindung auf der indiegogo Crowdfunding-Plattform aufgefallen. Nun ist es auch ganz einfach über Amazon erhältlich. Bisher habe ich auf ganz normale Notizblöcke bzw. Collage-Blöcke meine Notizen gemacht. Das wird schnell unübersichtlich bzw. eine „Zettelwirtschaft“, also eine unschöne Sammlung loser Blätter. Da man beim Rocketbook ganz einfach die Notizen mittels eines einfachen, nassen Tuchs löschen kann (es wird ein passendes mitgeliefert, aber man könnte jedes Stofftuch nehmen), wische ich nun die erledigten Punkte weg und behalte so eine gute Übersicht. Das Buch hat 36 Seiten (die A4-Version hat 32), so dass man schon einiges festhalten kann. Zusätzlich gibt es mittels der Gratis-App die Möglichkeit die Seiten zu scannen und direkt zu verschicken bzw. hochzuladen. Z.B. per E-Mail, zu Google Docs, iCloud, slack, DropBox, Evernote. Leider fehlt WhatsApp. Natürlich könnte man einfach ein Foto mit der Handycam machen und dann das Foto direkt in der jeweiligen App verschicken. Ich finde es jedoch praktisch, dass man mit dem Symbol unten auf der Seite (ankreuzen) bestimmen kann, welcher Dienst verwendet wird und dann nur noch auf senden drücken muss (bzw. gibt es auch eine Autosend-Funktion). Ich habe schon verschiedene Dienste probiert und alle haben die gesendeten Dateien gut empfangen. Außerdem hat man in der App eine Übersicht über alle gescannte Dokumente. Aber auch ohne die App ist das Rocketbook zu empfehlen. Es sieht gut aus, liegt gut in der Hand, hat eine hochwertige Bindung, die nicht gleich auseinander fällt. 40 € erscheinen auf den 1. Blick viel für einen Notizblock. Wenn man aber bedenkt, dass man sich danach keinen Anderen mehr kaufen muss, und all die coolen Zusatzfunktionalitäten nutzen kann, dann ist das Rocketbook wirklich sein Geld wert. Achtung: man muss mit Stiften wie den Frixion von Pilot schreiben. Die lassen sich ausradieren oder eben einfach mit einem nassen Tuch löschen.
