Pince Nez Style Clamp Nose Resting Pinching Reading Glasses with No Temple Arms Readers for Men and Women FJB02

If you remember, "Don't leave home without it" used to be the slogan for American Express. The only thing that applies to now in my life is my cell phone. It is always with me. My readers on the other hand are not. I am no longer able to read the microscopic food labels at the grocery store and I need to know what allergens may be in my food. My wife has some pretty severe allergies and, if she dies from some kind of food reaction, I want it to be because I planned it that way, not by accident. With this product, my readers are always with my phone which is always with me. I used double sided tape (not provided) to fasten the case to the back of my cell phone case. I've dropped my phone several times and the glasses are still attached and never came out of their case. These are not really comfortable enough to use for extended reading (IMHO) but they do the trick for reading food labels, vitamin labels, restaurant menus and looking at pictures that my friends want to show me on their cell phones. When I don't really want to look at the pictures I just tell them I don't have my readers and they never know the difference because these glasses are hardly noticeable on the back of my cell phone case. Overall, this is a pretty good product and I recommend it.

If I could give these zero stars I would.The size of the glasses would fit a child's face and look ridiculous on an adult.The spring metal part is very tight when you first put them on your face and case a pinched skin look between the glasses. After I took them off and put them back on to try to adjust them better; a couple of times; they had loosened to the point of not staying on if I bent my head over any at all.They sit on my nose at a weird downward angle.When I put them back in the case for a bit; and took them out they were initially tight again for a few minutes and then loose.Poor design and quality on something that was pretty descent in the original vintage design. They have taken a design and idea and cheapened it to the point of a novelty item.This is not even worth a dollar store item.

All of my co-workers laughed at me and emotionally/physically kicked my a$$. I am scarred for life. Luckily I have found a more fashionable pair with an attached mustache to improve my self esteem.

These have a good pinch to hold on your nose but I felt like I was wearing a nose plug. Too snug for me. I do however love the case. It's sturdy enough not to scratch the glasses so I attached the case to my phone case and put my Thin Optics glasses in it. I wish Thin Optics had a sturdier case like this or Pince Nez had the Thin Optics nose pincher.

The spring is very stiff but there are no sharp edges on the frames, so while it squishes your nose pretty hard, it doesn't hurt to wear, at least for short periods. The lenses likely will not line up with the center of your eyes, but if you just want something easy to carry to read menus with, these are good. The carry case is aluminum with a plastic, wood-look scale on one side.

I am disapointed the reading Glasses have chips on the finish ...

I did like the way the lens was placed inside the frame, counter sunk so as not to scratch the lens when sliding them in and out of the case but..... I really didn't have these very long and they snapped at the bridge and bye bye they're garbage. I did tho (cause I liked the style and convience of them ) buy another pair these being my last if history repeats its self.

I ordered these since I wanted something compact (which these are). They arrived in a very timely manner, which is why they get 2 stars. I would say the bridge of my nose is medium, and I thought from the reviews that these should work. They did not. They will not stay in place and fall off constantly. During the 30 seconds or so that they stay on, they pinch quite a bit. I'm not sure who these would work well for.
